  1. Great quick build Phil, the old Monogram kits were great value. Dave B
  2. Another missed one. This is a great kit and yours looks better for the tidying up. Thanks for posting Helmut. Dave B
  3. Great build Rich, I've been having a break and missed this one. Dave B
  4. Missed this, great improvement Helmut. I have the later version. Dave B
  5. Helmut, I agree with Bill, this is going to be a great save. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Dave B
  6. This is take 2 on the Alfa. I initially bought a cheap file and got what I paid for. To top it off Phil had just started using his resin printer and was experimenting with resins, the result being an extremely brittle body, so much so I put it away. There was a sale recently and I took the opportunity to download a more detailed file. Phil has worked out a better resin mix so I've gone for it. Have two other builds on the go at the moment so progress will be slow. Tks for looking. Dave B
  7. This is a great little car and you're lucky to have one in the family, the model is nice too!! Good luck with your transkit. build, should be fun. Dave B
  8. Another great build Matt and tks for the pic of them all together. Dave B
  9. This is going to be great, I love the P3 and I know you're going to do it justice. Dave B
  10. That's a great looking build Thomas, tks for posting, love this period. Dave B
  11. Great build Rich, waiting to see Andrews finished Lotus now!! Dave B
  12. Saw this one race in Tassie Matt, looking forward to seeing it built. Dave B
  13. Love this car, built a 1/32 slot car using a resin body. Also like Profile 24 but they aren't cheap. Better look for a download file!! Will be following this build. Dave B
  14. Nice builds Thomas, tks for posting. Dave B
  15. Looking good Andrew. I'm glad you don't use auto acrylics, you'd end up with a pink E type!! Dave B
  16. Great builds Pierre, my favourite being the Batmobile. All the best for the new year. Dave B
  17. WOW, what a kit and you are doing it justice. Dave B
  18. Unfortunately guys it looks like you're right. The windscreen posts are too upright but I doubt I'll be correcting them as resin is a little more fragile than plastic and it would also mean redoing the door window frames. As for the nose I'm happy with the short nose version, it pretty much replicates the car I saw race at Longford back in the day. It was old english white back then and was very successful for a short period of time. Dave B
  19. Yes guys, you'll both have a lot of work to do, but given the age of the kits the detail was quite good. Looking forward to seeing both builds being posted on this thread. Dave B
  20. Father Christmas has arrived in Tassie early this year. Went out with my mates last night and Phil gave me a complete printed Zagato kit. I bought the file some time ago and its just been printed. The rest is outside in the sun curing. Won't be started for some time yet!! Dave B
  21. Looks really good Rich. There are some great resin kits out there. You're knocking your builds off really quickly at the moment, don't you sleep!! Dave B
  22. At least being Hasegawa I assume there is no engine detail to worry about? Looks good Pierre, and only 2 colours as well, that must have been very relaxing prior to starting the SSK . Dave B
  23. Marcus, windows are tinted but there is a fair bit of reflection, should polish up ok. It's Otaki in 1/16th scale and a very old build. Will be red when finished, surprise surprise! Dave B
  24. Helmut, I painted it that colour many years ago. I'm not sure what brand the 1/16th Lola wheels are. What outside diameter 1/24th wheels do you need, I might have some spare but I think they are 1/25th and may be a little small. Dave B
