  2. I like that ... V6 and all! Looks really great and those are one big set of wheels!
  3. Nice build and the underside is really killer! Great detail painting!
  4. That looks great .. tons of ideas for "something different". Good luck with this one.
  5. Very nice!
  6. You keep coming with those dazzling paint jobs .. and they all look fantastic! Nice details on the Impala ...
  7. I love the sculpting on the body sides. The flow from the running boards through the front fender is a fantastic line too! I'd mention the rear fender, but it looks like this is where you left off last time on this..
  8. Welcome back to building and I'm totally enjoying this excursion. I'm a nut for 1:1 copies ... wonderful job so far!
  9. That's a great looking mill ... can't wait to see where it will call home.
  10. Can I ask why canned air with Alclad?
  11. Maybe a Trabant Luxo Cruiser .. something with cloth or blanket over the seat springs A big bore 8cc Trabant Hot Rod! A White Trabant buffed tooth whitener
  12. That's a sizable branch and looks awfully close... glad was just close call
  13. bust them hips out.. GoGoGO!!! I love how you're doing it!!!!
  14. I was impressed by the detail in the Trabant. This has many build possibilities and all thankfully will disrespect the Trabant!! Another point, though the Commodore block looks long for a 4, but THREE new 4 bangers or 3 and a straight six! Either way, I'm sure the new engines alone will find many new homes.

Yes,, looks fine and great fender treatment! Did you use sheet plastic to rough shape the fenders? It would weigh 20 pounds if all Bondo..
  16. I'm happy to see all the body openings you've done.. doors, etc. Would hate to see that spectacular frame buried in plastic and bondo! Are you going to make the body easily removable for display?
  17. ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy karumba!!!!!!! That looks spectacular! .. 2 bumper styles. interior panels all around, under dash tray, grab bars on seat backs, folding middle seats, open doors and rear, ENGINE! and I see what looks like the back edge of the driver's overhead controls panel!! Totally amazing detail! Too bad it's still got the late big round turn signal lights in front and newer tail lights like all the other buses, but that's minor. The 56 I'm modeling had to steal some Karman Gia front lights and scratch building the rears.
  18. Welcome back to the farm, Steve.
  19. I love that chassis too.. could sure drape some neat chunks of sheet metal over that. Fantastic job on the paint detailing ... it's alive already!
  20. great looking job on such a nasty kit. Triumphs are too few and far between.
  21. I think you all need the READ the question first and then answer appropriately. Of course a compressor is the way to go, but the man SAID he does not have the money. He even said he knows a compressor is the way it should be done. Why repeat what he said? The question was ... Is there any brand that is better than the other, until i can afford my compressor? Thanks for keeping the thread on topic.
  22. I used canned air for a number of years for various reasons. I don't think there is any difference in between any of them, but I just used whatever was available. Locally, Testor's was easiest to find. Over time, it does become more expensive than a compressor, but at the rate I was completing models the canned air was a good introduction to my air brush painting.
  23. That sure is a lot of numbers!
