  1. I see the posts of the builds you all finished this year has begun it's my time to list what I haven't finished, but were really close! It's been slow lately with my only daughter getting married on the beach in Provincetown, Cape Cod MA. I have a bunch that are close to finishing and there's still a month left in 2016. I can't decide which I should try to complete in that month, so I'm putting it to a vote. I tried to add a Poll but can only have 5 choices, so let me know which you'd want to see completed. Here's the contenders ... some are actually NOT a car I owned! '32 Ford not-chopped, sectioned, channeled and wider Needs a repaint and mostly assembly after that '56 VW Kombi Another repaint and assembly '92 Crown Victoria already repainted and needing trim black and chrome 2003 Inifiniti G35 Coupe repaint, of course 2013 Mini Countryman a repaint and assembly Subaru Sambar in assembly! all painted! '49 Mercury Woody, jacked and distressed custom maybe this one needs too much to complete, but is in the paint phase '67 Triumph TR4A This is the one I'd like the finish most, but is doubtful it can be done
  2. all your builds are beautiful, but this '32 Vicky is drop dead gorgeous!
  3. another beauty!
  4. welcome back to the bench and will be looking forward to seeing some builds
  5. If I've been speechless lately, it's time to say WoW! Been really enjoying watching this come together!
  6. Gotta fix that fender scrubbing the tire! This is a great shot, and the build looks to have been fun .. and magnificent looking!
  7. I like it with that cab ... beautiful!
  8. oh, yeah! DO IT!
  9. I haven't used Laser Bond but Bondic comes out with a slightly tacky surface that goes really dull when handled. I spray everything with a clear acrylic and it comes out shiny and resists handling while staying clear.
  10. wow ... plain Jane is right and she's looking like every every day car there was! Very cool!
  11. Laser Bond Bondic I've heard only that Laser Bond is clearer, but haven't used Laser Bond to compare.
  12. This looks better than either Model ... the style works good here
  13. I'm a big user of Bondic for many things and this is one of the best ones ... magnificent job, Steve!
  14. A beautiful rendition!
  15. I know N scale. That is some fine detail painting!
  16. Aye, that tank is a work of art! I'm a full fender guy, but the mock up without looks good!
  17. I think you have succeeded in the Realism department with this one!
  18. Air-Trax has a 1/24 resin Amazon. Look at bottom of this page. More photos of Air-Trax Amazon I believe I've seen die cast Amazons but can't direct you to any.

    Ford GTX-1

That is really clean! I like how it looks too!
  20. Welcome to the 21st Century!
  21. ... and if you use Bondic it only has to hold shape for 4 seconds
  22. Bondic is my preferred material for filling small molds like this. No mixing (squirt into the mold as is, no hurry (doesn't cure until blue light cures it, no wait (cures in 4 seconds under blue light) and y0y're done. In case no one knows, Silly Putty is not a stable material, It still flows and by the time your epoxy cures Silly Putty will be trying to get flat and flow away from being a mold.
