  1. The last photos really light up this scene realistically ... beautiful!
  2. very nice weathering ! The grill on this is one of my favorites too, and opening it as you did really makes it work!
  3. I love the ease of use and the look from Sharpies too ..
  4. mee too! ... but, Bill builds almost as slow as I do .. ehehe
  5. The photos you uploaded are huge, way to large for any internet site. They are 4608x3456 pixels and 3.3mb file size. They should be in the 800 to 1600 pixel range. Also, they have been uploaded directly to the forum. The forum has severely limited file sizes because it doesn't have room tor the thousands of photos we all post. The best way to post your photos is from image sites, like photobucket.com which is free and you can use the same link to post to a hundred different sites! and, I like where you're going with this build!!
  6. Was thinking about the fender mounts. Some "sheet metal" shrouds in the shape of a airplane wing would look cool, or just the shape of the fenders. Just large enough to shroud the axles and attached at one end so the wheels can pivot in front ... fully welded in the rear. From the amazing work you've done this shouldn't be a big deal to work up. This build is simply amazing!
  7. Try this guy, thou someone here will most likely step forward .. http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/261775-brians-model-car-forums/
  8. Stunning!
  9. I like the look of those wheels on it.
  10. Even "sports car me" would like to see more photos of that beautiful build!
  11. Quite beautiful .. that blue rocks!
  12. I'm glad to see this one back ... totally out of the booster!
  13. I finish on average about 1 build a year, but I don't have a lot of kits stashed away, so I'd venture a guess at about 30% done. This makes me feel like a prolific builder!
  14. I agree the patina is still in progress! This is weathering that looks like it took 20 years to happen ... wonderful!
  15. Looking good ... that trim is going to make the body pop. Looks like a nasty job piecing the lower trim into that V!
  16. That's kind of cool ... looks very good! I'm not a fan of jacked up anything, but they do have a unique look. I'll bet this Cobra now handles like my Dad's 65 Ford that scared the life out of me on every turn!
  17. ok, now I have to say it ... WoW!
  18. I'm surprised I've never seen those headlights before, but they look perfect for this build. Your 3D model looks very passable.
  19. This came out beautiful! Red really sets it off.
  20. Looks like inside the outside of the box ... and cool!
  21. Welcome to the forum, Randy. Your story is much like mine ... and many others here. Looking forward to seeing some builds.
  22. I did exactly the same, works well.
  23. It's so enjoyable watching this build .. I'd say wow, but WoW!
