  1. I'm hooked on this one ... making one of your 1:1's is the best! It's coming along really good ... glad you added a photo of the real one.

Very nice, but 10 days! .. it takes me 20 days just to gawk a new kit! Very good looking, especially the interior.
  3. Your photos show the driver side but I assume you mean the passenger side doors. If so, I made an '85 GMC that my daughter had and had to make dual hinged side doors from the sliding door of the kit. This is the under glass post of it and if you want to delve deeper here is the build thread, which is quite detailed concerning how I handled the doors. Sorry, but the things I did converting the doors are spread through the 17 pages of the tread. here's a shot of the side doors as a quick check I'm sure many here would like to see what you're doing with these vans.
  4. We could all chip in so you can complete your collection.
  5. Cool idea ... and execution!

    wow wow wow!
  12. That explains this large release from out of the blue, to me anyway. I'm going off my NoBuy status for a few of those!
  13. The link is what I get in email showing their newest car models. I can't find a direct link with all these new kit announcements on their site. It's my bad ... it's a link to the email I got, so that's why you're not seeing it. This is a link direct to Hobby Search cars section. I'm happy to forward it to anyone if you give me your email. edit: I sent the link to my wife and she gets everything. Not sure why you don't see it, ED. PM me your email and I'll forward it to you.
  14. Liking it .. engine is cool!
  15. I always liked Heller kits and the odd (for here) cars they did. I have a few on the bench I had to search and pay large for. Today Hobby Search had about every kit I knew of listed for January release. A pretty amazing list, IMO.

  17. This is looking fantastic! Replication of a real vehicle is the most fun kind of build ... great story behind the recolations and creative building!

    Interesting paint job.
  19. That's a heartwarming story and cool that it's on the road again. So, WHERE'S THE MODEL???
  20. Thanks for posting ... great shots of many good looking models!
  21. The PE that came with this body does have the steering wheel center in it (see page 3), but I'm planning to use one from the TR3 donor kit as that looks accurate for my 1:1. This has been in the back of my mind all along and I think the TR3 steering wheel will look better. Thanks for the comments.
  22. near bottom of the pagebelow. They are decals and apply just as regular decals but are resin "beads" on a clear carrier. Archer's resin weld decals
