The open roof should let you stick your head straight to see out too!
  3. About the weirdest custom I've ever seen, so this should be interesting. I'm waiting to see how you handle the opening phone booth door!
  4. Hmmm .. I knew a girl from Muncie, when I was in college in Angola, that .. errr.. that's another thread I think ... Would be cool if that did put that in a box again!
  5. Actually, the technology is wonderful, it's the programmers that suck and what their companies make them do.
  6. This is coming along very well .. what stands out for me is how well you draped the plug wires!
  7. This is one of my irritations too.

    Yes! I like 'em low.
  9. I REALLY like that! Everything aligns so well!
  10. I'll try not to Smile in your presence. (that's LaughOutLoud)
  11. Two beautiful builds!
  12. Wow .. 135 in a TR4A! Thanks for the comment and cool photo.
  13. ehhe .. some wild bugs! Must have been Scott's avatar that prompted them. Pretty cool, at any rate! I have a few VW's in the works and one that's actually done. My '54 we rolled 3 times in Germany My Dad's '56 Kombi My wife's '68 Autoshift Bug. Had to make the bumpers Then there's my '69 Bug with some mods. Considering on ditching this and using new Revell's. This is all VW underneath ... with a computer mouse body.
  14. Beautiful!
  15. Just a quick, but not so timely, update getting the wheel mounts fixed so the wheels are centered. There was much watching glue dry, styrene and epoxy and it looks done to me. As can be seen in the last photo, I just used some pieces of styrene drilled for the brass rod axles. No suspension or engine in this curbside. I did start fiddling with the front turn signals but the first attempt failed. It did give me a direction to head toward for 2nd attempt.
  16. Those colors really make it pop. Do you have some photos of the rear?
  17. I posted this a couple years ago so just pasting it in here. The shop is still open and the owner hasn't been able to sell it yet, as far as I know. Hope this isn't taken wrong as I have no connection to Hobby World other than as a dedicated customer. As with many local hobby shops, the owner has decided to retire and has put the business and land up for sale. As I said, I have no interest and am not trying to sell. I will miss this shop dearly if it ever closes .. this shop is what we all think Hobby Shops should be .. small but always seems to have what I need .. and if not, can be ordered. Owner is a car modeler but his stock and knowledge covers many hobby areas. This is located in the far western part of Massachusetts in the Berkshire Hills .. a beautiful vacation area but only an hour from two major cities. We are extremely fortunate to have a resource like this so close. Hobby World 171 Grove St. (Rt 8) Adams, MA 01220 Facebook page
  18. Welcome to the forum
  19. I never knew of this kit. Got popcorn ..
  20. Great job on it! Looks like a wagon by the factory.
  21. Nice one, Eric. Your Aunt was not shy, apparently .. red on red! Looks good and these are fun builds .. of something you remember from your youth. I had an Aunt that donated my first car to me, and later my daughter's first car .. also a Plymouth!
  22. Glad to see your beautiful build ... first I've seen. I have one here for a build of my Brother's DS and I'm happy it went together so well for you.
