  1. I just wonder what happened to all the TR7 garages out there....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrgF38F_qw0
  2. The Revell Lincoln LSC that was recently released would be a good candidate. It should have everything you need to build a Pro Street, including street tires. The chassis will be a bit short and probably narrow, but the mechanical bits will likely be good.
  3. This one may have a cowl induction hood - it's difficult to tell from the box art. I do have the kit but it's been stashed away for years and I don't remember. The hood is different than the stock one, so I'm not sure it will work with a stock truck grill.
  4. I would contact your help desk since it's a company phone. You shouldn't have to bear the cost of supplying chargers and cables. They will give you a compatible charger, and probably two, so that you can have one at home and the other at work. If it's a phone problem, they will replace it. I have a company issued iPhone that they completely support. I have never had a personal iPhone or any interest in one. They provide all the accessories I need for it. I've never spent a dime on it.
  5. So I found the same type of truck that had the TV screens on it that I saw in DC. This video is probably acceptable - it's a "see through" truck. The front camera is displayed on the rear screen. https://packaged-media.redd.it/bty51tt9zinf1/pb/m2-res_1276p.mp4?m=DASHPlaylist.mpd&v=1&e=1757214000&s=726d5f917437896277b0d051670e1702b89e086d
  6. On 12th Street SW in DC, I saw 3 20ft or so box trucks parked on the side of the road. They had basically huge TVs mounted on the box sides and rears covering the entire area. I have never seen anything like that. I took some video of them, but being DC, the message was very political and not appropriate for here.
  7. LGB is a German company, and stands for Lehmann Gross Bahn (Lehmann Big Trains).
  8. You may also see the LGB compatible stuff marked as G scale.
  9. I had an automatic 92 SC. Best car I've ever owned - I was devastated when I sold it. I expected it to be my forever car, but it was not to be. From what I remember, there were no manual transmission Super Coupes sold in 92.
  10. "Submerged: Life on a Fast Attack Submarine in the Last Days of the Cold War" by Henry Rausch. What a great book. It sheds a lot of light on the life of a junior naval officer. It's a very accurate depiction of life in the submarine business in the late 1980s/early 1990s. I've read the book 5 times or so since I got it in April. Disclaimer: he was the Weapons Officer supervising my job on another submarine, and I flew back to the US with him from the Mediterranean Sea many years ago.
  11. What scale are these? You've done a nice job on them. I have the Amphicat that Jack L mentioned, and was thinking they'd be cool when I was building mine. I love that theme song - it's a happy and fun song and video. I go watch it on YouTube every so often.
  12. Expand the box above to see the pictures - you can probably only see text.... Looking at these two shots, it appears that the front end openings are about 1-1/2 times larger on the model than they should be. They also look a little too low. The bottom edges of the openings should have "ramps". I would think that adding those ramps to the existing openings would do wonders, and I would do that before adjusting anything else. Just my thoughts.
  13. That's what I get: (1/25) / (1/24) = 96% (1/24) / (1/25) = 104% Just about 4%.
  14. A Lamborghini Revuelto and a Volkswagen ID Buzz.
  15. Here is a link to some GM Vehicle Kits Vehicle Information Kits | GM Heritage Archive | General Motors Most of them are Chevrolet, but there are others. Many of them contain measurements for unusual dimensions. I find them quite useful for GM cars.
  16. That's what I thought. There was a factory color called Iris Metallic available on the 90's F-Series that was very similar to this color.
  17. I was riding my scooter on a state highway headed to Santee, CA many years ago. The car a ways ahead of me had a mattress attached to his roof, until he didn't. It flew through the air tumbling end over end. It was a beautiful and graceful thing. Fortunately I was far enough behind that it wasn't a hazard and easily avoidable. What a sight.
  18. I just got one from WSDOT (I assume Washington State Department of Transportation) on my business phone. I've never been to Washington state in my life. The closest was California. I also don't take toll roads voluntarily, and only on business trips where I'll be reimbursed.
  19. I would check Amazon, Ebay and the like for the proper blades. I've had pretty good luck with finding discontinued products brand new on those sites. Sometimes hobby shops overbuy or incorrectly estimate the demands, and they have the stuff sitting on the shelves.
  20. You've got to be careful with the Revell Cougars. Some came with a V-8 - I think it was the later models (1992 maybe?). Another option is the AMT Ranger/Splash. They had a V-6; I think that was a 3.8L. Maybe the AMT Explorer, too.
  21. Here's a story the LA Times ran on it: https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1987-11-25-ca-16356-story.html XTRA was a radio station that played progressive, alternative and punk rock, and pretty much anything they wanted to. I believe it was licensed in Mexico, but the targeted audience was the US. Great station - it helped develop my tastes in music.
  22. For those of you who are concerned, yes, it is satire or humor. I highly doubt any person has been killed or even slightly injured by impalement of a 1/25 scale 1932 Ford driveshaft in their jugular vein. This whole thing reads like something out of Naked Gun. Check out when Frank Drebin investigates Ludwig's office on youtube. Thanks for all the responses!
