  1. I'd LOVE to see those Mach I wheels in scale.
  2. Making one from lengths of styrene rod would be workable, if a bit tedious.
  3. Grimed up the seats a bit, because now I'm not so sure about my original 'throw a blanket over them' idea...
  4. I need to GET an airbrush!
  5. That isn't a pickup bed camper- it's way too big for that. It can be mounted to a truck chassis in place of a bed or built as a trailer. The only pickup bed camper I'm aware of is the one that used to be in the AMT '65 El Camino, but that was just a shell- no furnishings of any kind for the inside.
  6. Just needs an in-scale Jack Rebney figure.
  7. Yep- the T-Bird had the V6, not the Cougar. Duh! Is 29 too young to be having senior moments?
  8. Why not? It's already got a solid front axle.
  9. The other percieved advantage to a straight axle was weight savings- losing the control arms, sway bar, and complicated steering linkages were seen as a bonus. But it is true that not all had a solid axle, I've seen some mean gasser-style cars with the stock IFS left intact, but jacked up.
  10. Whoops! Sorry! Didn't know there was an overabundance of THOSE threads, too!
  11. I don't see how a thread getting too big would be an issue- a healthy thread means a healthy forum, right?
  12. I can't get past the fact it looks like a mid-level Mercedes Benz mated with a Cadillac. A million for that? I'd buy a beat up old Maverick and use the remaining $999,500 for something a bit more useful.
  13. LeMans meets Star Wars.
  14. The only 1:35 kit I have is the Revell Mercedes Lkw gl leicht "Wolf", which I plan to turn into a civilian-spec G-Wagen one of these days. There are actually quite a few cool car kits geared primarily toward Military modelers, but my only problem is if I get too many of them I'm going to need to start up a whole new display area in my hobby room for the things.
  15. More than likely they did that with the NASCAR variants in mind, so you'd need not to cut out the gas door and roll your own filler. Since this thing was one of the first big NASCAR champions, Moebius probably thought many would be built as stock cars. Well, that's my theory, anyway! Like the idea of doing one as an NPS ride.
  16. If you need the V6, the Cougar would be the best choice, but you'd need to rework the belt drive and intake to omit the supercharger.
  17. Don't do much in that scale, but I might pick one up just 'cuz I like the car. If they do one in 1:24 or 1:25 scale, I'd pick up several of them. Just sayin'.
  18. Best buildup I've ever seen of this kit.
  19. Pwned from beyond the grave... by a digital camera!
  20. Lack of the oval is my only issue with the sheet- they're printed beautifully, and they lay down and set well without solvent.
  21. That's the only way I can see doing a tire that takes a separate whitewall insert. Barring that or making your own master from scratch, I don't think a lathe would be necessary, though.
  22. The lack of the ovals in the air cleaner decals is the only bad thing about the sheet- they look good, and they lay down and set nicely with no solvents needed.
