Very well done build of an incredible race car. Details are excellent. I'm actually old enough to have watched these cars race (on tape delay!) back in the day. I always admired the advanced technology in the various versions of these cars. Very nice.

I knew you'd been at this build for quite some time. I don't know if I would have had the patience you exhibited to complete this. Absolutely museum quality and words are hard to find to describe how amazing this build looks. Top notch, incredible, outstanding, I could go on and on. Congratulations on finally completing such an exceptional model.

Very well done build. The blue color is very nice, great shine. This a fairly simple kit with a little effort makes a nice shelf model. I like your wheel choice too.

Hey Steve. Thanks for the compliment. I've run into that issue on a couple of other AMT kits. I had a very detailed 69 Chevelle kit I did and the same thing, sloppy fit of the wheels and tires. If I remember correctly, I think I epoxied the wheels to the axles as a final step on this kit.

Thanks Bill. I actually knew that but sometimes I don't bother for the simple reason I happened to like the body color engine compartment for this build.

I don't have this particular kit in the stash, but I believe they're the same kit. As to why the price difference, ya got me. That's curious in itself. Unless import costs are added to the one from Revell of Germany. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge of kit history will chime in.
