  1. ^^^^^^^^^^^^Nice! Fujimi please! What I love about Fujimi, is 80% of their cars have optional left/right hand steering dashboards! Well, dont' know if 80% is acurate but you know. So yes, please Fujimi! I love that 370 Z! What I like about it, is it still look's like a Z, but refined! Unlike what Scooby did to their STI and made it look too much Focus-like.
  2. That is one of the coolest new cars we have today! I like the design of the headlights, how the main lights blend into the sides for, I assume turn-signals? Also, look's like it has Vampire-teeth in the air-dam! I bet you could fit a nice set of 20's there!
  3. If your happy with it, that's all that really matters right? I myselfe prefer my wheels tucked in! Anyway, it is nice though! Anyway, how did you change the offset of the wheels in order to get'em sticking out?
  4. Are those aftermarket wheels and not the kit wheels? Cause they look like their sticking out of the fenders? Nice job though!
  5. Cool! I'm going to do that with the blue body/spare kit I have when I'm done with the two red-head's.
  6. Can I use this stuff to make a rear wing? I need to make something similar to this rear wing. I know, it's not the best view of the wing but it's the only picture I can find of it.
  7. Yea that is a nice one. One would have to find a model kit of the stock car, and do some serious mods and find the right wheels for it. I'm not crazy enough to go that far, yet. BBR does have that in 1/43 though! Yes, I beleive it is the 348. Go to www.Koenig-Specials.com and you'll find out more.
  8. I started sanding down what's left of the blue/black paint. I'm beginning to get back to the white of the plasitc. There will be lot's of nooks and cranies I won't be able to get, but if I can get it back down to where I can re-primer, that'll be good enough for me. If I can save this body, I will build the kit. I might try and make this one like the first generation Koenig Testarossa where it had a simpler rear wing on the back and not so much like an F-40. I might do some body mods here to achieve the right look. This is the car I'd like to modify the kit into. Would need to find a picture of the rear view of this version. I figured, the red one will be succesful, copy it's results on to the convertible, and then try and build a third version. Here are some pic's of the blue one so far. I think with that Milli-Putty stuff, I'll be able to do some fantastic work with this body/kit.
  9. ^^^^^^That's not an inch-up! That's a FOOT-UP!
  10. I dont' live in Minnesota
  11. When I took this model to Complete Games and Hobbies, that is exactly what they recommended and that is exactly what they are holding for me. I hope to pick it up Monday when the weather improves! They also recommended plastic in between the gaps from which to build upon, so I'll definetly be doing that with a left over plastic for sale sign I've got.
  12. WOW! Nice one! Except I noticed one detail you over looked, and I bet it's very hard to replicate. The rear valance section. The version in the photo is I beleive their first edition where they had the slightly modified Testarossa rear valance. The model has the more aggressivly styled rear valance mimicking that of the F-40. I do like how you deleted the rear wing! How did you get the rear cover entirely off? Can you post more views of that? And with the lid on? Would love to see the interior, front, and sides and what not. Thank's! By the way, I had to sand-down the rear wing a bit. The second coat got even more spots on the wing for some reason, so it's sanded down smooth again. Now just waiting for the right time to paint. We've got major snow showers in the Springs, had a foot of snow last night, and still snowing. The weather report claims more snow till tomarrow noon! So, unless I can paint indoors, there wont' be any painting soon. Tomarrow I'll start masking the areas on the body where I want to paint the trim work.
  13. I'd say that's cheating! LOL! You can't vote AFTER the elections' OVER!
  14. Wow, look at the big gap between those who voted for real, and those who voted for model! Model win's by a mile long! Sometimes it pay's to go with the croud! Can't wait for next week's game!
  15. I have two of the Ebbro's, one HotWheels, and there exists some where on this green planet a 1/32-24 scale toy car of it from the Ultraman series. That was made back in 2001 and I dont' know how many were made as it's very, very rare to find. I'm going to guess that with the new 2010 4-door Honda Insight coming soon, that it will rival the Toyota Prius and there will be model kit's of THAT Honda Insight, and THEN of the original one. I dont' know why a kit has not been made considering how unique the car is.
  16. ^^^^^ You could call it the American Lamborghini! Also another great car would be the Zender Fact 4.
  17. I need to get some to fill in these gaps! I did post questions about this stuff in my Veilside MR2 thread a while back. Hobby Shop should still be holding it for me and I'll probably pick it up Monday. My question is this. How long does it take for it to dry?
  18. Do I dare say my 2001 Honda Insight? How about the Vector V8 Turbo? I've only seen it available in 1/18 scale and it's very rare to find one. This would make for a cool 1/24 scale kit. Photo of 1/18 die-cast
  19. Has anybody mated a performance shop with a hobby shop? I'm not talking about dealerships offering die-cast models of only their make's, model's. I mean really, a combination performance/hobby?
  20. An update, sorry no pic's yet. I fixed the imperfections, gave it another coat, and I have to say WOW! This is my best paint job yet and the red look's stunning on the Koenig! I am very excited and can't wait to finish it. I'm going to wait a few day's for the paint to really cure before masking it. Reason for masking, is just to get my window trim lines as clean and straight as possible. I'd hate to start hand-painting it and get ugly wavy lines on an otherwise beautiful paint job. I think it was well worth getting the extra kit in order to have one perfect build! I will update pics when I get the trim work done! Side note: The red itselfe does not need a clear coat, but I still plan on doing so anyway just to seal in the details and the decals.
  21. I had dreams of opening up a performance/hobby shop. It would be a big full scale high-end performance shop with a combination of hobby shop catering to cars only. RC cars, die-cast cars, and model kit's. Even include resin body kit's as options for scale models just like your real car. Idea is you could build a model car of how you want your real car to look, and the shop would build the real car for you. Or, you could just build a model of your dream car. Something along those lines. I ocasionally watch Unique Whips and if I were you, I'd watch that show and see how tough it is. How much detailing are you talking about? Just wash/wax outside, detail the inside? Or are you going to offer accesories as well? I dont' think I've ever seen a performance shop offering scale models that could be hopped-up as well.
  22. That I'd bet anything was for sure a kit car. Nobody in their right mind would purposly destroy a rare classic. Rest of the movie, I'm not sure about!
  23. Thanks' for the tip on that movie-car site!
  24. A fifth one? Holy moly! The franchise must be doing very well for theme to consider making a fifth one! Wonder what the fifth one will be like, and when does IT supposedly take place?
