  1. ...And I would like them to sell for $25.00 also.......
  2. I would like to see the Revell 1/4 scale Chrysler Slant 6 re-popped.
  3. I saw an American Pickers show a few weeks ago and they went to this place- I've bought a few things from them over the years. It was good to see they are still around- be warned- the same song repeats over and over...and over....I think it's the theme song from "The Dating Game" ? Look for the model car kits.
  4. I like to use Future to install head lights and P/E parts.-Chris
  5. How about a article on "How to convince the other forum members that you're the BESTEST model builder ever-WITHOUT ever posting a picture" ...We'll show you how. *** Photo was quoted in sarcasm
  6. Your 1941 Plymouth would be 6volt-positive ground. -Chris
  7. Thanks for the great replys on the road grader. Used a rear seat from a Hogans Hero Jeep for the grader, and some other bits and pieces from my parts box. The scaper blade is a piece of 1/2 Evergreen tube cut at 60* at the end then cut down the middle.
  8. I used the gas tanks from a Lindberg L 700, the rest was made from Evergreen stock.
  9. When the "Rommels Rod" was re-issuded a couple of years ago, I had a project for the rear tracks. After that project was done I had the engine and front frame left over of what I would guess to be a '40ish Mercedes 540K. Added a transfer case from a '84 Fall Guy pick up. Found a cheap night light at a dollar store to use the shade for the hood, then found two Ertl 1/43 scale die cast farm tractors for the rear wheels and tires, a 1/64 scale New Holland die cast for the tires-the rear tires of the die cast but the front tires of the grader.I'm having a problem adding pictures with my text so pictures will follow-Chris
  10. So what's the verdict ??? Was a black interior offered on a 1962 Catalina ?-Chris
  11. I wonder how the Polar Lights GTO front clip would fit onto a '66 Chevelle wagon ? I went to High School with a kid that had a '64 Tempest wagon .-Chris
  12. "Asburgers"?...........tastes like chicken.
  13. http://www.finchscustoms.com/ Ron Finch builds some of the coolest motorcycles, and is an all around artist. I got lucky the other day-found this DVD that has Gene Winfield on it. -Chris
  14. This is kind of backwards, using a modeling tool for every day life. So between this thread being 3 pages back and the talk about ladys fake finger nails- I thought I'd throw this out there. I've been plagued with ingrown toe nails from years of wearing steel toe work boots. For years I've used Revlon side cutter type nippers to dig them out but some times they are too big and bulky. A few years ago I tried a pair of sprue cutters and found them to work the best-now I have a pair just for that job !!
