  1. Very nicely done..Hope to see this car at the NNL North on May 18....See you there...
  2. 2012 Dodge Journey R/T Loaded Storm Grey/Black leather...Dailey Driver...Summer cruiser 1964 Plymouth Fury Convertible 426 street wedge auto..White/Blue interior White wheels/dog dish...15" wheels..Restored it in 1991..
  3. Super job on the mounting of the roof piece..That paint job is to die for, what kind/brand of paint and did you airbrush or can the paint..Polish job is excellent..This old Ford is going to be KILLER
  4. Yes..White Bear Dodge was his sponsor for a while...
  5. Both very well done..I like cleanly built models and these are very clean models...If you couldn't see the deck railing you would think they were real...Very well done...
  6. The blackwalls make your car look TOUGH and maybe hard to drive..The whites make it look civilized and more or a cruizer...The whites will also draw more attention to it...I personally like the blackwalls better..Very nice model either way and very cleanly done...
  7. Welcome Austin..Where are you in North Dakota?
  8. 1962 Bel Air was and still is one of AMT's best kits they have done..That new box-art looks like WOW!
  9. Usually like chrome wheels on Rods but this is very tastefully done..Very nice and clean too...
  10. The ting I don't like is the big blobs of plastic on the bottom of the bodies that has to be removed..Never saw that on newer issues Ex: 66 Nova..original issue no blobs. Latest issue two blobs at the rocker panel..I don't like that...
  11. Very nice work..Sure hope you painted the doors and hood the same time, the same way..Metallics have a way of showing different colors when not done on the body..Time makes a big difference in the way the paint settles...
  12. I've known Junior for many years and his dioramas can be seen at the NNL North in Minneapolis on May 18..2014...He does nice stuff for sure...
  13. 98% Labelled two Mustangs the same car...
  14. Round 2 could take their Lindberg 64 Plymouth 2 dr ht and convert it to a 1965 Belvedere 2 dr sedan or Satellite 2 dr ht..All the underpinnings are there..Just make sure the release has a bench seat and steel wheels/dogdish caps as an option..Keep the 383/slant 6 combination...Would be a huge seller...Good to make altered wheelbase cars out of..Let the builder cut up the cars to do so though....
  15. The older bodies were great, the chassis and engines and underhood detail let lots to be desired..The best older kits were the JoHan 64 and up flat boxed kits..The early JoHan stuff the body was nice but interiors and chassis and engines with holes were not..The interiors were too shallow but the bodies were right on with good detail and engraving...My two cents...
  16. I'am a Doctor..Years ago the Model car list had a doctorite of Model Car Builders..Members could send $16.00 which went to charity and got a Doctor of Model Cars..I've been a Doctor for years...Wayne Farmer aka....Dr. Wayne Farmer...Doctor F...
  17. Based off the Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330 stock 2 dr sedan or the 1964 Belvedere 2 dr ht...A stock 1965 Plymouth Belvedere 2 dr sedan or hardtop with bench seat and the 383 and Slant 6 engines with steel wheels and dog dish caps..Would be a big seller for sure and could make many variations....
  18. Very nice and clean..Really like when someone does a clean build like your Chrysler..Excellent workmanship...
  19. Very nice and clean job on your Nova..Building one myself, it will be stock with dog dish caps..Light metallic brown...Ford color with same interior. Going to use black primer on the seat bolsters then coat with the same color as the car..Should be a little darker color which will make it look like a different vinyl upholstry..It it doesn't so well.....
  20. Love the dog...A home without a dog is Not a home..Say hello to Buddy from me...
  21. Don't know whether I asked or not but why is there a huge space under the hood as it meets the grill? Why no front door handles either? Are you going to make some or what?
  22. Can't find that Meguiare's Cleaner Wax here anymore..Son now I use Scratch X..Follow up with Meguiare's Gold Class paste for a wax..Very nice stuff..Your model is very clean and classy..Very nice job...
  23. Some people are complaining about the mold lines and the feel of the plastic..Maybe it has to do with the plastic supplier in China..Since models have been coming from there they just don't have the feel that they used to..Or the nice smell of American plastic..My rant...
  24. Been out since 1998 since I had my stroke..I'am pretty good with life and just painted a Sumbeam. Was going to build it for our club foreign car Christmas build(Winnipeg Model Car Club) I haven't been to the bench in years and its feeling good to get back..Paint job came out real good but the kit is Junk..Will trade it this Sunday to someone at the meeting who would like it especially if they have trouble painting..Will trade for a kit or take their money..I should have done something else instead of the Sunbeam..Yellow plastic and flash on everything and nothing fits properly..Platic very hard on 65 Yr old eyes...I'd say I'am 65-75% back..Spend about three hours night since last weekend...Thanks for letting me rant...
  25. You may think I'am harsh but the unbuilt Cuda looks good..The Challenger looks too much like a toy..Nice wheels if you paid retail for them but the rest is just a waste of money..Hope your burger was good....Sorry, but thats my two cents....
