  1. There are many variations of the 1969 COUGAR kits floating around. Possibly you may consider Dyno Don Nicholson's PRO STOCK Cougar or Eddie Schartman's '69 Cougar PRO STOCK ?
  2. Fellas, Maybe a dumb question but, would the AMT/MPC '69 COUGAR chassis fit the Cyclone body ? Thank you,
  3. Alan, The Rollin' Stone '32 FORD roadster drag car. The top photo is the original car and the rest are of the restoration of the car.
  4. Alan, Rick Mayer's '39 Chevy gasser.
  5. I believe these are the Monogram tires that came on the Midget . I don't know if they're GOODYEARS or FIRESTONES...I suggest you contact the seller first as he does offer numerous different tires sets. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-32-URETHANE-SLOT-CAR-TIRES-2pr-fit-Vintage-Revell-Monogram-Cox-K-D-Strombecker-/161442620498?hash=item2596bae452:m:mkRvGf_zpFWrzoQ2Aafjtqw
  6. The "Jolly Dolly" '39 Chevy gasser from Monogram's old kit . Sorry for all of the big photos again...I'll try to fix them.
  7. Alan, How about this car for the '32 FORD Roadster kits out there ? Sorry the pictures are so big...
  8. Great job, really captures the fell of the era !!!
  9. Beautiful ! I really enjoy these old Monogram kits, especially when someone does such a great job on one. Thanks for sharing !!!!
  10. Great job, I love the box cover builds from "back in the day" ! After all these are the pics that got me hooked and I still like to do a box cover build now and then ! I love the sinister look of the car, very inspirational to say the least !!!
  11. Seth, I just found this thread, super build ! Great details, looks like a 1:1 scale drag car !!!
  12. Walter, Great job, your efforts really paid off ! Pete L.
  13. Mike, Beautiful ! The text above answered both of my questions fro your other post on this build. Thanks for sharing !!!
  14. Fellas, The GREAT ONE(S) , both of these builds are great ! Very inspirational to say the least. What shade of paint was used on the blue car ? The color is a dead ringer for the shade of blue that was on a '65 Pontiac Tempest hardtop I drove "back in the day". Thanks, Pete L.
  15. Sorry if the pics are too large...
  16. Fellas, Wouldn't it be great to see some of the FRED Cady type decals
  17. Thanks for the great review, looks like a winner. All it's lacking is a Lloyd Bridges figure ....
  18. Peter, Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try !!!!
  19. Fellas, Here's an example of the "powdered donut" look on the AMT Firestone Supremes on the left front of the car...the build is from the mid 1980's. The Supremes from the eighties and earlier.
  20. Beautifully done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Fellas, I'll bet that Cartograph could make a great set of decals to go into a Round 2 kit of the FORD Drag Team Combo pictured above !!! After all, Round 2 has the molds for all of the vehicles in the photo !
