  1. This is coming along great Chris, what engine are you going with for it? An old style Hemi or Cadi engine would probably look pretty solid? Go with some straight pipe exhaust off the block
  2. updated post with some better pics.
  3. Great to find you here as well Chris! Thanks for all the comments, this was a fun one to build, I left it all pretty loose and I'm glad I did as I am going to do a new interior for it with some flocking and a few more details.
  4. I always liked that build of yours Chris, everything was very clean and really stood out! We'll have to get some ideas to build something to sit on a trailor with our Van!
  5. Good evening all, I thought I would post some pics of my daughters Predicta that she has been working on. She wanted to build something different but not too difficult so I thought this would be a good kit. She found a write up in a Rod and Custom I had that showed one of the re do's of this car and she has been trying to make it similiar. The paint is TruBlue Pearl and the inside is Snow white pearl base. The kit is built basically box stock with the exception of the steel wheels from an AMT 53 Ford Truck kit. It has been fun and she has learned some of the frustrations of modeling with this one Enjoy the pics.
  6. Really like your color combo! I hear you on the kit itself but you sure did do it justice!

    Nice Build!
  11. I really like your build here. I can tell there was a lot of time spent on the fine details of cleaning and making things fit right. Great job!!
  12. Nice build!
  13. Thanks for the nice comments guys!
  14. Nice build. Really like the clean detail work!
  15. Thank you guys for all the comments! Glad you enjoy the pics. This one and a 41 Revell Willy's I have painted House of Kolor Sunset Pearl were two that were painted and just sat. The Willy's actually never even left the paint paddle I used to tag the body to for painting for a number of years. I am not sure which direction I will going with this, originally it was suppose to be more of a lowrider but I'm thinking about maybe a thin whitewall or black wall with a nice mag for a 70's look.
  16. As you guys have probably noticed I've been pulling old projects and working on them as I'm getting back into modeling. This was out of the Revell Race team van kit. A couple of buddies and myself were drinking one night and deceded to pull out the heat lamp and try something different. We used House of Kolors Solar Gold and the other gold base, Orion silver, planet green and pearl white then laid down a number of Organic Green coats then a few coats of PPG clear. It is hard to pick up all the different shades of green in the pics but it came out quite nice. I have to dig out the rest of the kit and hopefully you guy will see it finished soon!
  17. Very nice work! I love the paint job and style of this car, and just as was stated, in the box I never cared much for the custom options either but everything sure came together well in this build!
  18. Nice job on this!
  19. Really like these, exceptional work, great job!!!
  20. Nice Job...I use Weld-On 3 and 4 along with some strip styrene plastic on the backside for supports. The weld on works really well though as it will actually melt the plastics together to some degree.
  21. Hey Kevin, good to get your email and call name. I posted a few pics of some stuff I had finished some time back. I'll probably bring a couple to the next meeting. I've also pulled a few projects I started back about 10-12 years ago and am going on those!
  22. Very nice and clean work on this
  23. Very nice car!!!
  24. Hey Curt, this is Paul, George's son. I've posted some pics of a few things I did back when I was in the club about 8-9 years ago.
  25. Any members on here? What are you call names?
