A laser cutter can create the livestock van shown. I have considered doing it myself.
A few notes.
Artwork - if you can't create the art yourself or know someone that could cost good money,
Cutting cost - laser cutting is about $1 a minute or more commercially. Just a estimate each side would cost about $60 plus materials.
It is a great project and perfect for a laser cutter.
here are sone laser projects of mine.
Deb owned the store...I was D in DNL...we were never sued once. I was at the first deal with Rick at HMS for Gordon....get your slander right.
I'm dome with this one......I have more first hand info than you guys....why do I need to prove it to 'expert and fan since 2005'????? I've been trackside since age 5......
Childress racing has a MUCH longer relationship with Chevy. (and maybe more famous with the #3?) They are also the number one Chevy team at this time performing MUCH better than HMS. Think things never change??? If you had said 3 years ago Harvick would be thanking FORD in the winners circle for the third time in a row, you'd been laughed out of town. Change is the only constant.......
To wrap it up....follow the money.....
Now that someone else has said it.......both manufactures have been attending races over the past 18 months. NASCAR needs a bigger audience, USA fan base is down massively. How does a business expand when home base is shrinking??? How did the NFL do it??? Go to Europe. The buzz from a new manufacture is exactly what France wants.....he often says he copies the NFL in marketing. Now if you keep up with published comments from some high profile companies and individuals you can connect the dots.
Lived within 100 yards of the place....bought a new '82 Z28 direct from Rick. So as I said....not just some hillbilly here. Chevy makes Rick the least money right now. The unknown manufacture, seen in the HMS pits of late, will bring badly needed buckets of cash with them. While all this is my opinion....I worked in NASCAR for 15 years.....
While I want to see this project finished....I fully understand........start to finish this took me 15 years ........
And no where near as nice or complex!!!!
All part of the plan folks!!! Jimmie will move on or retire end 2018. The 48 will go back to HMS original #5 with a new very high profile driver, sponsor and maybe new auto manufacture. I've held license deals with HMS so don't write me off as the hillbilly I appear to be!!!
If I was asked to perform due diligence on Revell, like I did 50+ times when I was working for a top 5 bank, It'd be a hard call.
I love Revell Monogram, have folks there I call friends....just being real.
IMHO only......thx
In today's climate $10M is pretty high for Revell.....kinda depends on the debt included. Even if debt load is very small it would take a while to start making a good profit on the investment..........speaking as a retired Sr Analyst. We'll see....it may go w/o a bid .....
