It's looking good!!!! I hope Revell tools a 72 body for the S&H Torino kit. I have hunted for a good 72 1/1 scale for some many years....all the good ones are $$$$$ One in scale would be good.... Good work..... EDIT my attempt at a 72. I had a busted up 72 promo and a 72 NASCAR body....custom 72

Bought the wife a Cube in 2009. She thought it was cute.....my 6' 2" frame was very comfortable in it. The few times I drove it I never warmed to the CVT....LOVED the design of the car.....biggest small car on the market.....but that CVT just was not my cup of tea. Does yours control it's speed on downhills in cruise mode??? Ours would run away from us.

I take it no one from the big 3 attended NNL Toledo??? Last I went in 2015 all were there with booths. Are we down to zero manufactures?? We used to get a peak at the next year at NNL.......

I was in the hobby shop biz from 1980's through 2001. Not easy back then...now harder...add aging owners, rising costs....just the way it is. Our hobby will be 85% online in a short time.

Are those hub caps used on the 1973 Mustang in the real 'Gone in 60 seconds'??? In the scene before the jump you get a close up of a locked up wheel......looks like this one.

Dunbar had Depot Hack, Fruit wagon, 1/32 Chevy monster truck, Cosmic Charger,2013 Camaro, Jaw Breaker Revell 1/29 X-Wing. A few old police cars and a stack 5 foot tall of civil war cannons!!!! I bought the last two fruit wagons and a few others. May check one more store Wed.

I agree Tom.....I have worked in small ways with both Tom and John and overall think they have done a GREAT job with what they have. As for this kit being the flagship of a new line....not so much. Maybe a reissue of the Barris Paddy Wagon....90% of the tooling is in other kits......can't be that much to restore. THAT would be a flagship kit for a new line. I fully understand the challenges of this hobby as a business. A retire Sr Analyst for a top 5 worldwide bank...I tend to analyze EVERYTHING. And working in this hobby for 35+ years now....I see both sides. Let's hope this is just a starter kit and big things are coming.

FYI ....Revell has the US license for Star Wars and has for many years.

Very cool!!! We owned a 1/1 US version....which as noted is a very different car than the model is.We put about 80K on it and gave it to our daughter who still loves it. It is one of the most unusual cars made....Fantastic room inside.

Got a recent 32 Vicky kit for $10.19 and a Revell Kylo Ren shuttle for $6, msrp $32!! Hobby Lobby had a lot of $10 kits today....37 Chevy, Surf Woody etc

Overall I like what R2 is doing and has done. But you can still find thee pretty easy.....and it was not that great when it first came out. Give me a ZZR in classic box with new pad printed tires and I'll pay $35 without blinking.....

I'm going to.......But they had added some Revell Star Wars models so maybe that's what mine got????? I did buy a 129 X-Wing for $30 that was MSRP of $90....so not a waste trip.

Nothing but old Lindberg planes and Civil War cannons at mine.....

Saw that the HL I was in today had some MENG kits....military but who knows.....Jeeps???
