  1. I like the one photo without the wing better......
  2. Chimmneyville did the figures......but they call them by generic names to avoid issues.
  3. WOW.....I like it!!!! Is it going this weekend????? I understand there is a showrod cat.
  4. When I lived in Charlotte there was a plastic Dist that sold 'cut offs' by the pound. After a number of trips in there buying lots of plastic they started cutting me a deal at about 1/2 price which was really cheap. Lived off that supply for a long time. They shut down just before I moved away.
  5. Firefox was go to for years.....but not supported correctly any longer. Go Chrome
  6. Known him for only 55+ years!!!!
  7. Love this kind of work. If you ever wanted a flat stock hood I'd look at a NASCAR Buick hood.
  8. Off topic.....My buddy will be at the NHRA contest....he will have a number of models but Tyrone Malone drag truck and Papa truck will be easiest to spot....say ya for me!! I go but 6000 mile round trip is tough....
  9. With 40% off every non close out item 6 days a week......and the close out deals like recent kits under $10.....I'll still shop every chance I have.....and it's a 1.5 hour drive for me. I've missed deals before too....it happens.....I still kick myself daily for not buying a real NASCAR Daytona Charger from Tiger Tom Pistone back in 1977 (Dave Marcis car) for $4K because I thought it was too much......live and learn.
  10. Great color choices!! I like that kit so much I offered a repro of it years ago. It was laser cut from plastic sheet....you used a Lil Mixer for parts.
  11. Owned a 1/1 1972 Pinto.....great car compared to then girlfriends 73 Vega..... Vega's big car parts on a small car did not work as well as Pinto's R&P steering, dedicated brakes etc were better. I'll ignore the Pinto gas tank lore.....all 3 manufactures had a gas tank issue in the 70's. Era of change.
  12. Most times they do not change copyright dates.....Beer Wagon still says 1968 IIRC but issued many many times.
  13. Hard Hat was made in the 70's and reissued one time.....the one you have. It is a kit of a real showrod.....one built just for the show circuit.
  14. WOW....that would hurt for a long time....
  15. I'll buy a few current F-150's........want to build mine!!!!
  16. Next time we talk I'll ask..........BUT a quick ebay search turns up a number that look just like it. Cast aluminum top with stamped metal bottom. I was looking at a single carb version just like it for my 1/1 66 Mustang project. I need a very small cleaner to fit between the Monte Carlo bar and shock tower braces....and clear the big electronic Dist.
  17. I don't know what the TV car had. IIRC there were a number of Torinos used....all different for filming needs. I do know the 1/1 car Revell used was a car from NJ and owned by a friend of a friend.
  18. I have a Hobby Japan magazine with a ad offering OBGYN office equipment models.......ewwwww
  19. The S&H Torino is 100% correct for the car that was used to model off of. It is set up the exact same way the real car was. It may not be factory showroom stock....but not incorrect.
  20. If it was 1/24 I might need one.....but 1/20.....pass BTW I have a model of a Japanese robot that was made for auto assembly line work. Different to say the least.
  21. 300ZX is one of my favs......I produced the IMSA version in kit form years ago.....
  22. ny idea who cast it?? a few others....mild....
  23. AMT kit with Cady decals.... Otaki kit with Penngwen decals... '
  24. Been to Ollie's eh??
  25. I made fruit and veggies from epoxy putty formed and painted. I'll build the AMT version and do the same. Good start....
