My cats LOVE boxes.....I call them 'box inspectors' as they have to check out all boxes.....then take a nap in one..... Good lookin cats guys!!!!

Those are pretty common. Here is the story if you want to know. I was partner in a hobby shop in Charlotte NC. We started getting race teams and marketing companies calling and visiting wanting to get short runs of models made for sponsorship proposals or even corporate gifts. We had worked with Bob Johnson then at Revell. We worked it out that they would run 5K Thunderbirds in white and 5K in black. (we did the Lumina later too) We took a good number of them.....we even made 500 Trop Artic #66 for Phillips. A vast number of them were sold through our store. We wholesaled to many stores so they can be found all over. If I had to give a value I'd say about $5 or so.....

One of my customers asked if I cared that he modified the body, some small corrections, and re-cast.....but it never happened. Resin biz is tough!!

Sorry no.......I sold a TON of them at one time. I scrounged together a kit not long ago but that was all I had left. thx

We do not have street addresses here, they did give us what they cal 911 address but UPS. FedEx and USPS say the addresses do not exist. So it is REALLY frustrating when companies will not sell to you and statements that make it seem like every PO Box user is some scammer.

Yes.....the guy that bought a lot of my decals then photo copies them and sells on ebay had me ship them to his home street address........and he is one of the all time biggest scammers........stealing from every decal maker on the market.....

Where I live it's a PO box or no mail service. Don't be so self righteous until you know how it is for all of us.

I can see that too......but is it not true it came from the 2.5 scaling down of 1/10 scale wood bucks??? I own some of these wood bucks and that is what I was always told by those in the model company that gave them to me.

1/24 is easy.......O scale trains are 1/48 or 1/4" to the foot. Just double that and you get 1/24 and 1/2" to the foot. The odd scale is 1/25 only because of the 1/10 scale wood bucks and the 2.5 setting on panto graphs of the day.

Pretty much what I understand........it was a way to make smaller kits, Indy Turbine racer is one, price out the same or more as the 1/25 kits.

The 1/25 Mad Max Falcon is fair at best. The blower is just mounted to the top of the hood. Proportions seem off to me. OK for $20 but not more....
