Cool spin!! Same story I heard Tom G.........I recall how it was such a high dollar kit before the reissue. First one I ever saw was at Toledo. Never saw it first issue.....and I lived in So Cal!!
Vintage trucks hold much more appeal to me than any other era.
I know this is not a true correct factory stock build....but I like it.
So anything kit wise in that era would be great....even just parts.....wheels, tires etc.
MORE DELAYS in the S&H Torino???? Really???? It was set for a Oct 2014 release now Oct 2015 but it is pushed back further??? With HUNDREDS of the real cars available all over the country I don't understand the problem. A real car, say an rare exotic hand built car, I can see issues in doing a kit.......a common American sedan......odd.......
You gotta remember The owner of Moebius has a personal connection to Hudsons, they won a lot of races and have a more positive history than many cars of the era. . Good subject matter. Can't say whats next.......only a few at the top of Moebius could....... But I do know if we keep buying.....they keep making!!!
I have seen some great N scale layouts built on those cheap interior doors....3' x 6.5' .....sturdy and easy to move or stand on end during down time. $20 locally.....
It is a bash of a 'kit'. I say bash as the kit has 4 walls and a roof.....nothing else. I shortened it about 6 scale feet and made the foundation, roof details and interior, signs etc. LED lighting is hidden. It is 1/48 scale and will be in my downtown section which will be about 8 x 16 feet of just city.....to show off cars of the era and buildings. Thanks
65-66 notch back rear window is 100% different than a 67-68.
It is inset and has very minor sail panels.
To get a correct one.....plastic and lots of work....
I have a 1/1 in the garage if you need pics.
Issues aside.......One of the best replica stock builds of that kit.
I don't recall any issues....but in a stock car build you bypass many possible problems.
Tamiya paints, PPP wheels/tires and Penngwen decals.
