  1. Tom IIRC you will not find a #43 Dodge NASCAR truck box.....never made it to production. They killed the truck kits right before this. There were only one or two Dodge kits......
  2. Some folks try to say the Tucker fans twisted facts to make a better story......I don't think they had to do anything...... Agreed....a HAVE TO SEE film. Own a copy in fact.
  3. On the Moebius and Hudson thing....... There is cut in stone logic why we have Hudson's from Moebius.........
  4. Been told the same story by someone who was there........if only it had happened. I fully buy into the Lucas/Ford-Copala version of the Tucker story. Both men own Tuckers and have done much research on the car/man/company. KILLED by the big 3 out of pure fear. I have the Danbury and Modelhaus versions.......want a plastic kit.....even a curbside. But not holding breath......
  5. Nice work on a not to easy kit. I built one a few years back as a 1/25 scale Hot Wheels!!!
  6. I have the 1/35 German locos too.......1/25 General and some HO static kits. I also have a bunch of 1950's era loco kits in various scales.
  7. It's not a model car........but if it was it'd be among the rarest....... A Rivirossi AHM 1/48 scale plastic model kit. I wanted on of these back in 1972 but they sold for $20.....a HUGE sum back then. Took me this long to find a extra mint kit.
  8. During a recent conversation with someone who freelanced for RC2 back to the AMT era........ We discussed a number of kits that we almost got. None got tooling but some did get research and/or drawings done. Most were along the lines of the Studie and Olds........GREAT subject matter.......but not big box seleers. How I wish some of these had been made.........
  9. Part gold..........Testors Inca Gold IIRC.......
  10. I never had an issue with pin fitting........the only thing I altered in my 4 builds was I lightly sanded the window openings so glass snapped in easier.......very little......and that may have been just me with paint and foil build up.
  11. Part of the issue is some of us may have gotten used to these super polished mirror like finishes of some recent kit. The Revell snapers are the most polished I have ever seen!! My Hudsons look perfect for some mold line clean up, primer and paint.
  12. Next Moebius Hudson due is a Club Special IIRC...... PS....this ain't ugly........
  13. WOW....really great build!!!!! I did one years ago......not as nice.
  14. But think of all the 'mix and match' you can do!!! LOL
  15. VERY nice work!!! I have one on a to do list.
  16. One I have handy......a Caddy movie car....... Glued the doors closed to fit better. Added basic door handles. Die cast toy wheels and tires. I printed the tag. I like this kit warts and all.
  17. Take my word.......the photo you reference is not what the actual model looks like. When I saw the picture I was shocked......I had not noticed it looking like that. Checked my pics and it's just that photo. Not sure why it looks so 'off ' but just the photo. Fantastic kit.
  18. That 240/300 six cyl is great!!! I;ve seen both kits........the 240 6 cyl will land in a number of Late Model Sportsman racers from the 70's....the cars were unbeatable!
  19. I'll admit that this one was not on my gotta have list......until I had the privilege of seeing a test shot........ WOW....not only well done but details so well done it is a must have. Although not many ran in NASCAR....a number of them did in other series. I am going to try a Lindberg 64 Plymouth roll cage and parts to make a really nice stock car model.
  20. Correct....old age creeping in......
  21. I forgot that way of doing it. Both NASCAR and Pro Stock have issues that need fixed for a street stock.....but the Pro Stock may have a better greenhouse. Nose too long on the PS.
  22. I've seen folks combine a NASCAR 1983 Bird and Mustang/Fox chassis and build a stock 83-86. 87-88 Bird is very different......IRS and WB IIRC. Plus the interior is different.....so a NASCAR body, fender lips from a 87 and a Fox chassis may be easier.
  23. Can not find the words to say how nice that work is!!!!
