Our Ollies is in Fairlia WV....not much smaller than that. We get 90% of what everyone else gets....I think it's just luck of the draw. Ollies send 20 cases of kits to each store....the mix is pot luck! I bet since the kit dump started I have bought 50 kits.....some of mine have a $5.99 price one them....which is what they were the first dump.

You are going much higher tech than I. My goal was a Mustang that Shelby aimed at a market that wanted a street car that was closer to a racer. Mine has a 302 crate motor, 4 sp top loader, radio delete....no power anything. Classic Daisy wheels. Disks added to replace the 4 drums. Ford Avalanche Gray paint. LOVE to see yours but it looks like you are 3000 miles away....maybe mu next CA visit!!!

Sorry to go OT first post but this topic caught my eye and when you said 1/1 project I had to ask. Is that your car in your avatar?? I ask as I have a 1/1 tribute 66 GT350 set up as a street R model.....and I build a lot of Mustang models.....so I had to ask! thx

The Revell Chevy SS tooling is in China and 49% owned by the Chinese Govmt.......a very difficult web to untangle. They would come out cheaper cloning the Revell kit.....I'll provide the kit if they want.

SO.....is the promised 2021 Camaro NASCAR Cup car NOT going to be done???? When I spoke out that it seemed odd to kit a car that would be obsolete by the time it hit shelves....I took a real beating as being negative........?

Some people online are saying parts for Moon Eyes build are missing from kit......they did not say which.....anyone that has one???

IIRC those wheels came from the Starsky and Hutch Torino.......that or parts box......either way American Slots.

Very well done! I have two of these kits....I want to build a version of the General post war with more of a simple color scheme and detail differences.

LOTS of extra goodies........Atlantis is looking VERY smart right now. Not having to wait for a container from ASIA, huge cost increases......that bid for the Revell Monogram tooling is looking like the move of the century!

That kit is intact and needs no tooling work......so a cheap and easy reissue.

Most likely the box is the size of the parts pack trees......they are kinda square....

I have the JADA Ford GT and Vette......yet to build. It would be interesting if JADA had continued to make kits and improved them some.

I like those kits.....you did well. This series of kits must be pretty rare. Saw them one time and never again. Hope you don't mind...here is mine.....with a few mods...

Wen t to my local store. Chrysler 300, 72 GTO, 96 Mustang GT, 69 Chevelle conv, PB COE, REO, White Western Star., 1/48 Lindberg planes and 1/1200 Lindberg ship kits. I got the White as I have never had the kit and I had 15% off....so for under $17 a good deal.

My son called me and said his Ollie's in Lexington KY had models. Many of the trucks we had before, 69 Chevy conv, a few other cars....none I needed.....check yours.

Many of the automated postal systems show 'shipped' as soon as the label is printed......Most companies print the labels days in advance.

I will be set up as a vendor. Lots of kits, some big scale rare kits and Penngwen decals. Drop by and say hello.

If you really want to know how China works.....check the book 'China: the 100 year marathon'. It explains how things work in China and the why. I am not anti China as in the people, many are great people and very talented. When I was working on a kit with a Chinese tooling company we had to communicate via drawings as we did not have a common language. It worked out well. The government is a different thing.

Went today.....picked up 2 kits at 40% off.....a good deal. Got some paint to use on my O3r train layout too......worth the trip.

Revell runs molding machines in a number of places. China is one of them. Poland and Ukraine too.
