  1. I almost thought they have cleaned out my stash!!!! I see lots I'd like....none of what I need!!
  2. Who is copying who??? Picked this up last night.....pretty cool.....better wheels !!!!
  3. After Oldscool posted 2 Sherman builds.....I found one in my stash. Dad spent a year back in the 50's in a Sherman protecting GA....and no one invaded GA so it worked! That and I wanted something I could start and FINISH.....which I did in 22 hours! The Revell kit was tooled in 1955 and still goes together well and looks decen even if experts say otherwise. Tamiya paints and weathering kit, Testors clear flat. Thanks for looking...have a happy 4th
  4. After all models were gone last week....today I checked and they had the Gremlin, GTX, 300, VW, 57 Ford. They were in the baby/girls toys isle. Then in the book area they had 50 of the Revell Scooby Doo bi planes.
  5. Super work as always........paint is super
  6. Thanks so much!!!! I want to get close....but ballpark will be OK.....figures would be cool.....maybe mod some Tamiya figures.
  7. A buddy is putting it in a Pete conventional. Exhaust is a bear....but it fits.
  8. After seeing your builds I ordered the Revell kit...but found it was the wrong model for a 'Kelly's Hero' model. So I ordered a MENG kit which is correct. You are doing nice work!!!
  9. You would think they'd up graded the wheels and tires to the level of the box art!!!!
  10. Handicapped?? I'll say....
  11. The common sense train pulled out of the station and ain't coming back. I took 4 years of auto tech, true it was the 70's, and could have done the work if not for some surgery I had that kept me from it. I PAID to have the work done by professionals so the car would be ready when my wife retired as a RN....now it will wait until I am able to do it. What pro with any common sense puts a belt on backwards??? The 16 year old at Auto Zone knows better.
  12. From what I understand Pride in workmanship is wrong....it hurts other peoples feelings. That said it is SOP today. We sent a barn find 1975 Mustang, sitting for 30 years, to a well know shop for a check up. After $1000 to make it a safe daily driver, we got a car with no oil pressure, will not idle and had the new fan belts installed tooth side OUT!!!! We are currently negotiating a partial refund.
  13. The car did not run many races....and as a back marker...not many photos. The one I used is about it! Pretty simple. All white but the hood gloss black. Small '53' on head light doors and tail light covers. Black chassis with red wheels and grille. thx
  14. Well engineered......I see the future.....
  15. Nice work as always! NASCAR front spoiler rule was it was the same width as the cars frame rails!!
  16. Your builds keep getting better!!!! I like it as I own two Mustang II real cars. Your model is a hatchback or fastback and not a coupe. My real car is a coupe.....Just FYI
  17. GREAT work on my favorite F1 car ever!!!!! I have two of those....need to build!
  18. I like what Atlantis and R2 are doing......Ignorance is bliss I guess........
  19. You made that kit look really good!!
  20. Pretty sure THAT is the main reason they spent the $$$ retooling that kit. Add a full detail and a drag car.....4 kits from one investment.
  21. Most new tooling has 3 - 4 versions planned......Nova wagon no different I bet.....
  22. WOW that came out nice and clean!
