  1. I have two of those put back....you give me hope I can make something from them. Well done.
  2. They don't own the MOON trademark from what I understand. A Japanese business man bought it years ago. The shop/store is right up the street from my SoCal buddy.
  3. No...the TEEVEE Dune Buggy kit.
  4. Did the TOWD get turned into the T Buggy??? I'd think that R2 would have repopped TOWD if it was still intact.
  5. Per Salvinos the last Gen Revell kits are in China.....not included in the Atlantis deal.....and if you know about China the tooling is not leaving there soon.....and is tied up with Revell(of Germany)
  6. Having worked on a number of projects for most of the major plastic kit manufactures........box art can become a big expense that 99% of buyers do not care about. I did the box art for my kits I produced year ago and worked on a few kits in recent years. The guys that do box art well AND understand the subject matter are few. And like everything the cost of having someone that is competent is way up. I think Atlantis is going a decent job considering it is a handful of folks working hard to make kits for a micro market. My attempt and fail at box art
  7. Why is Dave Kindig on both box art???
  8. +++During one of the video updates Salvinos said they will be doing the car. And they said it will be ready late AUG 2021. I kinda feel it will be a miracle if they go from nothing to full kit in this amount of time....but best of luck to them!!!
  9. I offer FREE long term storage for all race car kits!!! I'm just that kinda guy!!!!?
  10. The Revell ASA short track kits bring good money...he had more of them than common NASCAR Cup kits.
  11. Little update on my 1975 Mustang II barn find......... Dr released me so I am out of my wheelchair. Put the Mustang up on the rack, pulled the oil sensor, temporary installed a manual oil gauge. Cranked her up....60 psi at idle. New oil sensor and put her back together. My 'PRO' should have done that. Fixing the carb that they fixed took another hour and she's all good. On to cosmetic issues! Point is....a shop that had a good reputation should strive to keep it. But I think today if you are just OK.....you out shine the idiots. So why over do it???
  12. Saw that the kit was back on main page......good news
  13. You made it look good!!!! I like movie cara. Do remember the tooling is over 50 years old!!!!
  14. I almost thought they have cleaned out my stash!!!! I see lots I'd like....none of what I need!!
  15. Who is copying who??? Picked this up last night.....pretty cool.....better wheels !!!!
  16. After Oldscool posted 2 Sherman builds.....I found one in my stash. Dad spent a year back in the 50's in a Sherman protecting GA....and no one invaded GA so it worked! That and I wanted something I could start and FINISH.....which I did in 22 hours! The Revell kit was tooled in 1955 and still goes together well and looks decen even if experts say otherwise. Tamiya paints and weathering kit, Testors clear flat. Thanks for looking...have a happy 4th
  17. After all models were gone last week....today I checked and they had the Gremlin, GTX, 300, VW, 57 Ford. They were in the baby/girls toys isle. Then in the book area they had 50 of the Revell Scooby Doo bi planes.
  18. Super work as always........paint is super
  19. Thanks so much!!!! I want to get close....but ballpark will be OK.....figures would be cool.....maybe mod some Tamiya figures.
  20. A buddy is putting it in a Pete conventional. Exhaust is a bear....but it fits.
  21. After seeing your builds I ordered the Revell kit...but found it was the wrong model for a 'Kelly's Hero' model. So I ordered a MENG kit which is correct. You are doing nice work!!!
  22. You would think they'd up graded the wheels and tires to the level of the box art!!!!
  23. Handicapped?? I'll say....
  24. The common sense train pulled out of the station and ain't coming back. I took 4 years of auto tech, true it was the 70's, and could have done the work if not for some surgery I had that kept me from it. I PAID to have the work done by professionals so the car would be ready when my wife retired as a RN....now it will wait until I am able to do it. What pro with any common sense puts a belt on backwards??? The 16 year old at Auto Zone knows better.
  25. From what I understand Pride in workmanship is wrong....it hurts other peoples feelings. That said it is SOP today. We sent a barn find 1975 Mustang, sitting for 30 years, to a well know shop for a check up. After $1000 to make it a safe daily driver, we got a car with no oil pressure, will not idle and had the new fan belts installed tooth side OUT!!!! We are currently negotiating a partial refund.
