  1. Move it to WV.....we had a HUGE car show last weekend with thousands attending over 2 days. Parts of it were indoors with more people than would attend a IPMS event. Sad the way things are going.
  2. This is one of the few ERTL kits I never owned. It looks great and very 'ERTL' and that is a positive. Thanks for sharing Tim.
  3. I have gone to Flex-i-file glue after Ambroid went out of biz.

  5. RIP Bobby......
  6. That's a big bird! nice work
  7. The 1/8 Jag was run by RoG last so they may have it. The 32 Ford was in China last so doubt Atlantis has it. Not sure where Camaro's or Firebird molds ended up. Send Pete/Atlantis a note and suggest.
  8. Thanks....the orange was a tip of the hat to the Carolina red clay that is everywhere!!!!
  9. For those that want to try it.....I use Dupli-color #1699 primer sealer as a Cup chassis gray. Very thin great coverage over color plastic.
  10. I like siler as a undercoat. I also use Dupli-color #1699 primer with a little prep.
  11. Dad drove me to a huge parking lot that had a basketball court. He got out of our 1973 Pinto Wagon 4 spd manual, handed me the keys and said drive for an hour while he played basketball. I wanted to drive so bad I learned in that one hour. That 73 Pinto was really a decent little car.
  12. Thanks for keeping us up and running......
  13. I agree it is a older tool.....but I like how mine came out......
  14. Is that the 1/72 kit from the UK? I like Traction engines too.....I have the 1/16 kit by Entex I hope to build someday. Nice work!!!
  15. Agree on all counts. Box art is not as easy as it looks. I submitted my version of box art for the Moebius Hudson as I did the artwork for the decals. Sean ended up doing the box with some of my elements....and his did come out better. mine Sean's
  16. Did anyone else see the unplaited Unreal Roller test shot go for well north of $100 on ebay last week??? I want one bad....but that was out of my pay grade.
  17. Thx Sir....now to get myself in gear!!!!
  18. Looks great! My grandfather talked about driving one of those in the mountains of WV in the 1930's......
  19. Very nice work. Usual Tamiya build or any bugs? I have one put back to build my brother in law's JPS version. He owned in back in the 1980's. FUN car until you find out there is no protection from side impact with that backbone frame set up!!
  20. Remember when Colin Chapman's skirts on the Lotus were mind bending radical ideas????
  21. When you are old, like me, it's called nostalgia.........and we enjoy it. But I understand what you are saying.....it's all comes down to personal POV!!!
