I really dislike Ethanol for many reasons. 1. It uses about the same energy to produce as conventional fuels. (fossil) 2. Live in a rural area....ask farmers how it works in tractors and such. Most hate it. 3. The main purpose of Ethanol is to support corn prices.

My F-150 can run on Ethanol.......only issue is I have not seen it available in my state. I did see it for sale in Detroit when I was there 2016....last time I saw it for sale.

My Ford dealer has to fight for these 'real trucks' from Ford. They get all they can find but yes, the ratio of work trucks to luxo trucks is high.

THAT Ranger was body on frame rear drive at least. The Maverick will be FWD uni-body......a Focus with a truck like body. Nothing wrong.....they will sell a bunch to folks who think they want a F-150 but after they drive a real truck......buy the Maverick....a nice ladies 'truck'. My F-150 rubber floors, manual locks and windows 4 x 4 will outlast me.

Apples VS Oranges........... Comparing a electric 5 door SUV to a small 2 door sports car is a STUPID article. I bet ever other SUV in Ford's line up beat Mustang. (real Mustang coupe) in sales. REAL Mustang is like the Vette @ GM. A flagship car that makes a few pennies but brings folks in. We own a Roush 2016 supercharged Mustang that we have upgraded with a number of Ford parts. Compared to our 66 Mustang it is on a different planet. I'll take our coupe over a MACH E everyday.

Based on Focus platform per the Ford e-mail I got. FWD with optional 4WD. The other name they considered was Ranchero.......I like that better.

I bought 10 cans at $1.57 without and intervention....no one even blinked. Maybe a area that has issues and or laws about spray cans and 'tagging' is different.

My house does not have any A/C. We had 3 days above 90 last year so don't feel the need. But I saw a video on these small units and thought for $100 worth it for the few hot nights we have. What I saw is they are small 'swamp coolers' which really only perform in areas that are bone dry......AZ and the like. In high humidity areas they can make you feel hotter......start with that.

Like the old days when Monogram would make a slot version and curbside kit version of a car sharing body tooling. While I have a really nice Modelhaus Cheetah kit I'll buy ever curbside 1/24 kit they could do!!!
