I have a plastic file cabinet with different stock in each drawer......sheet stock in one, round stock in another. Strip stock and textured sheets each in own. I build a lot of O scale buildings so why textured has it's own. I have a LOT of plastic as a hobby shop is 3 hour drive. Late night work I have what I need 99.9% of the time!!
I got one of those today.........
What looks like a brand new heavy duty plain brown box I could stand on.....nylon reinforced commercial paper tape.
Two rounds of high grade bubble wrap sealed on all sides with tape....ends folded.
Kit inside TWO plastic bags, each sealed, one inside the other.
A nice thank you note from seller.
Nice! BTW this was a $18 kit....not a super rare one!!!
My father in law flew P-38 in Europe WWII......he was the one that showed me the VHS of the film because when he saw it he laughed so hard......because it was true!! (if there was no beer.....and in the UK many yanks liked Coke better!!)
I like this one better.........
PS: There is a old movie.....made during or just after WWII. One part has Air Force pilots who were killed in action walking into Heaven. In a waiting room is a Coca-Cola machine....which every pilot heads to first when they get there. Kinda shows the popularity weather you like it or not!
Out of 10 1/24 die cast......I bet 5 are not the scale stated. I go by WB and track....if they are correct I go with it.....but been burned by so many I don't buy unless I know it is scale. JADA is the worst.....I bought a 1/24 FnF Honda 2000 online....when I got it it was almost 1/18...not stated 24th.
While Revell is doing some stuff.....R2 has a REAL opportunity to take command of the US market. With R2 listening to the US hobbyist and more flexibility than a company HQ in Europe. We just need to keep buying....
I'd say the Coke Ford van IS pretty accurate. During all of the 1970's I lived in Charlotte NC. That is home of CCCC which is a Coke licensee that is bigger than Coke itself. I recall vans like that running around.....delivering machine, repairs and tanks. While I never took a photo.....they look like what I recall!!!
