  4. Ditto .. Ditto .. Ditto ... ed Sexton and I have had conversation recently about Revelle and Customer attitude . He is a great person and I appreciate his efforts and communications . He cannot undo decades of the failures I've experienced as a Customer . IMHO , replacement parts .. lol .. PM me for details of decades of this joke on me . He did try , he has limits also . So , is both the Revelle 1/25 Scale 1958 & 1959 Corvette not the same Car ?? Louvered Hood , Trunk Lid trim Strips of Chrome ?? Only Visually difference .. 'Corvette Blue Book' . I refuse to but any more Revelle kits .. Thanx ..
  5. Mis'ure 'Pewter hardly lets me on this site . Chat Rooms .. lol .. I don't think so . Thanx ..
  6. I have a few (lol) of Kevin's Products . He started his business well after the "Soft Resin" Era . PM me for a reference as well as some other casters any time . Thanx ..
  7. Who else remembers : "when you're smiling in your Rambler .. " All AMC items make me smile .. Thanx ..

  11. Yes , I understand this NOW .. lol .. dazed and Confused .. my World . Welcome to it .. lol .. I'm still unable to Reverse Image .. Thanx ..
  12. Harry ; As always I thank you . I've felt bad (?)as I felt I was ":cheating" delving into my Library for the Correct Model Name or MY . I am unaware you were referring to using an online search or this was / is possible . When I did use these references I have , I let you know where . If you had not listed me as a 'wienner' I would take my loss as my own fault . You never did complain nor ignore me as one member getting it right . That is I'm referring to the few times I got Car ID correct .. lol .. So once again Sir I must thank you for exercising my faulty memory . I do appreciate your efforts and Challenges you put forth . Someone pick up the torch please ? Thanx ..
  13. Yes , I knew about the Mako Shark in Bill Mitchell's office during the C2 development . I would like to share the Designers actions closing out the Program . Bill had the Group working overtime for weeks . When it came to the paint finish problems occurred matching the exact color of this Mounted Fish . Perfection is what MR Mitchell demanded . Bill left one late night in disgust . His orders were ;"no one goes home until the paint is an exact match ." In a stroke of Genius , they dismounted the Fish . Re-painted it with the next mixed batch of paint for the project car . If Bill ever knew , he did not let on . He was happy with the results . Keeping in mind a Taxidermist does Paint the Mountings , IMHO , this was the correct solution of the problem . Thanx ..
  14. You are NOT the Lone Ranger or the first . Forgiven IMHO .. Thanx ..
  15. You MUST Soak the Resin Parts in Whestlie's Whitewall Tire Cleaner prior to washing with soap and water . I've found about 8 hrs or Overnight will do the job . Don't forget Primer to give a surface for the Finish to stick to . Use a SEARCH Engine for the details for the build you want to make . Does this answer your question ? Thanx ..
  16. Thank you Dave ..
  17. One thing overlooked here about PARTS . Other Casters have generally abandoned this segment . Some will make parts if you've asked to sell you individual parts . Don and Carol made this portion an Art Form . I've asked many times if I am better off to combine my Kits / Parts orders . The consistent answer was "no difference" . Thanx ..
  18. Before the 1954 AMC Merger , a V/8 was available at Hudson and Nash . It was sourced from Packard . Originally the contract specified the same Power out of the normal Production Packards . The Packard President nixed this . This ceased when Husdon figured it out . After the Merger , AMC developed an excellent V/8 for themselves . Anyone else remember the '57 Rambler Rebel as the Fastest 1957 Regular Passenger Car ? I do .. I want a Hudson V/8 model on my shelves . Mobious ? Are you listening ? Thanx ..
  19. More Revelle products I won't buy . As a resentful Factory Stock builder , these will never see the light of day in Stock Livery . No Thanx ..
  20. Revelle offered a Mustang Grande in 1969 . It has the Option of Convertible or NOT fastback Roof . AMT & MPC both offered the Fasback Mach I Body . Revelle offered a Mach I in the '90's . I bought one .. never built it . All of these are 1/25 scale . Monogram offered both the Boss 302 & Boss 429 Mustang Fastbacks , in 1/24 th. . I bought these too . I think the '69 Mach I is what a proper front clip for this kit is what the issue is here .. Thanx ..
  21. Yes , I want one each of all three . Ford , Cummings and GM .. I will be watching .. Thanx ..
  22. I bought the Triumph and the Race Boat . good stuff . You don't go wrong with Norm's stuff .. Thanx ..
  23. Those are the stripes for the '73/'74 MY Gremilns . In the MPC or was it AMT '74 Kits originally . In the day , I bought 2 '74's and the Funny '73 to build both MY's . I did buy a Astra Funny Car and a Vega during this time for a Stock Astra . .. Thanx ..
  24. I do not have a desire for these . I know many that are . Would you like me to spread the word to MANY buyers ?? PM me , I'll show you where to connect to consumers . These are excellent ! Thanx ..
