  1. What an outstanding build. I like it very much.
  2. Very well done. Looks like you left off some of the fiddly aero bits, which is exactly what I will do if I ever get around to building mine. LOL
  3. Very nicely done. The paint job looks amazing.
  4. Here is a link to Pocher website, with the kit announcement: http://www.pocher.com/index_en.html#home
  5. See: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69594
  6. It looks really good so far. The yellow paint stands out! Keep it going.
  7. That was definitely an hour well spent. Thanks for posting the link.
  8. Love models? You may just be in the right place. I think there are a few others here who feel the same way! Which Supra kit did you build?
  9. Welcome aboard Brian. 917, what a great looking Porsche, but aren't they all? Are you using one of the Fujimi kits?
  10. Just read Michael's response. What he said.
  11. Welcome from the colder north, Toronto, ON
  12. Don't usually get model related stuff, as I spend enough on this myself throughout the year. Did share with you in that I also got a pair of glove, Merry Christmas.
  13. Welcome aboard Tim. Even with too many unbuilt car kits, I am often tempted by a 1/72 or 1/48 aircraft kit. Nice to have you with us, and Merry Christmas,
  14. Merry Christmas George. I use Photobucket, however, the other main photo hosting service is Fotki. www.fotki.com Good luck with setting up an account. It took me a while to get the hang of Photobucket, and I still haven't really organized my files yet! LOL
  15. Bill... short version of William. Eh?... a few reasons. Supposedly it is a Canuck thing. Also, it is pronounced the same way as the first letter of my surname. Lastly, I started loosing my hearing about seven or so years ago. At first I wasn't aware, but eventually came to realize i was asking my students to constantly repeat things as I wasn't hearing them. I would usually say pardon me, but can imagine that an occasional "Eh, what was that?" might have crept in. Have had hearing aids for about five years now. The sad part is that the highest frequency most hearing aids can reproduce is about 5K. My other hobby was my stereo gear, 45s, albums, and CDs. As for my avatar, a small graphic I created to incorporate my two initials.
  16. Really like the concept behind this one.
  17. Fantastic build Krishna!
  18. Immaculate, clean build Andy. Nicely done.
  19. Here is a picture of a Porsche 956 wearing a Newman livery.
  20. The mockup looks good Fredrik. When you say Newman, do you mean the yellow, black and white colour scheme? Should be awesome.
  21. That shade of blue is awesome. The build looks really sweet.
  22. Thanks Chuck. I ordered 30 kits yesterday. The hobby shop told me they should be able to give me a price break, seeing as how they are for the students in my class.
  23. Thanks Greg. That is excellent. I guess I will go ahead and order 30 kits from a LHS.
  24. I have decided that this year's class build will be the Monogram '32 Ford 3-Window. I have a couple of this release: I am assuming that this current release, basically has the same contents: Does anyone know if this release is still molded in white, as opposed to the red model depicted on the box art? I like the kit, but would rather have the kids work with a '32 molded in white styrene. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
  25. Yes Geoff, but it is such a great kit of such a beautiful Ferrari. Yeah, I know, it isn't a Ferrari. LOL
