  1. The mockup looks good Fredrik. When you say Newman, do you mean the yellow, black and white colour scheme? Should be awesome.
  2. That shade of blue is awesome. The build looks really sweet.
  3. Thanks Chuck. I ordered 30 kits yesterday. The hobby shop told me they should be able to give me a price break, seeing as how they are for the students in my class.
  4. Thanks Greg. That is excellent. I guess I will go ahead and order 30 kits from a LHS.
  5. I have decided that this year's class build will be the Monogram '32 Ford 3-Window. I have a couple of this release: I am assuming that this current release, basically has the same contents: Does anyone know if this release is still molded in white, as opposed to the red model depicted on the box art? I like the kit, but would rather have the kids work with a '32 molded in white styrene. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
  6. Yes Geoff, but it is such a great kit of such a beautiful Ferrari. Yeah, I know, it isn't a Ferrari. LOL
  7. Al Samms, aka truckaddict, is a great person to deal with.
  8. Scale Motorsport http://store.scalemotorsport.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=SM&Category_Code=4
  9. Nicely done. Very realistic looking finish.
  10. Fabulous build!
  11. Nick, you have scored an amazing amount of great project material from these two events. Looks like you've got more than just one winter's worth of building to do.
  12. Sam, I'm thinking your son may choose the Viper as the one he wants to do! LOL Nice score on the three kits.
  13. Beautiful, clean build. Congrats.
  14. Great pictures Justin, thanks for posting.
  15. Water drops are a cool paint addition. Just doing the inserts was a perfect choice.
  16. Paint job as amazing as a beautiful sunrise.
  17. Great work Robert. I have followed many of your varied-media sports car builds on this and another forum. You have found your successful niche.
  18. Elementary teacher - a mixture of Gr. 3, 3/4, 4, 4/5, and 5 for the past twenty years.
  19. My daily ritual as well. Delude my self by saying I'm only having 2 cups, when it actually reads 5 on the side of the pot!
  20. Once more, just W O W !!
  21. What a great use of a Hummer snap kit!
  22. Great work Pasini. You can never have too many Vulcan canons. Do you always cast this many extra resin parts? LOL it gives you lots of choices to add to the build. I really like your other threads. You have an excellent imagination.
  23. Hi Greg. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you use to haunt Automotive Forums as well? I was following a 1/12th scale Tamiya Datsun that you were doing some serious upgrades to. Did that one get finished? Hope so as it was looking amazing. Anyways, good to have you here.
  24. I agree with Tyler. From your picture, it appears that the kit wheels/tires are slightly bigger in diameter. The new set look basically the same except for the inner ring just inside the lip. The inner ring adds to the appearance of making them look smaller.
  25. Gary, please tell your son that he did a great job!
