  1. Thank yo Bill! I call it paper, but is thin cardboard, this one is from a USP envelope, the A4 size. I use Super glue to glue all together. Thanks Fabrizio.
  2. Fabrizio, what a great start on another eclectic adventure. When you say the body is paper, would that be some sort of card stock? What do you use to glue it together, white PVA school glue? Thanks for posting another fascinating project.
  3. This looks like a great "slump-buster" style of kit. Much more detailed than the 2015 Mustang Easy Kit. I know it is more expensive, but I think Revell has over-simplified their entry level kits. I like the way they have the separate door inserts on the chrome sprue.
  4. I went through most of the thread. I'm a teacher, not a mechanic, so my knowledege is very limited. To me though, it sure looks like he has put a lot of effort into optimizing his Pantera.
  5. See Fumi's post, #25
  6. As always Krishna, your models are always super cleanly built. This one is no exception. When ever I see a new post of yours, I am intrigued by the variety of subject matter that you undertake.
  7. With that graphic scheme, it must be one of the Fujimi kits, Exceedingly well done Robert. All of those graphics to apply as decals ... I shudder even thinking about it. This is one to be very proud of. You sure have come a long way since I first started following your work on Automotive Forums.
  8. Hopefully, less than I am willing to pay for it!
  9. Byron, Tamiya does not make a 1/24 kit of the F430. They only make a 1/10 RC version.
  10. Dale, would I be correct in assuming that you shot the paint through an airbrush? Fantastic paint finish.
  11. Robert, is it the Revell kit?
  12. I went to revell.com This is what I found out. The windshield part number is in fact 130. However, the kit part number is referred to as 2811, not 8511. I don't know if this could make any difference Mike, but it could be worth a try.
  13. Great work on the interior. I'm really impressed with the cage. It looks like you took your time with the cage tube joints, instead of just but-joining plastic rod together.
  14. One of the best liveries from the Tamiya 956 stable. Outstanding work.
  15. Love it! Please, do you have any more pictures?
  16. Hey redrod99, I also have Fred Stern's website bookmarked. I was going to give you an update, but apparently you have not read the rules that apply when you sign on to this forum.
  17. Thanks Randy for your reply. I have never adjusted the ride height before. I will have to give it a try for my built.
  18. A great build up of this model. Details under the hood look awesome. A few questions if you don't mind ... Do you have any chassis pics? Did you adjust the ride height? How did you do the lettering on the intake plenum? School bus yellow looks great. I think I will try one in Gotta Have It Green.
  19. All of the kids' efforts have paid off with great looking models. Applying decals is a lot trickier than it looks. Great efforts all around.
  20. Robin, the P-51 and F-16 look great. Congratulations to the builders for a job well done. My challenge is getting the numbers required for my whole class. If Revell adds the 2015 Mustang to the Make N Take program, my problem is solved.
  21. "thats cool thay all did a great job love the parking lot" Thanks Thomas "This really is one of the better ideas of class-time use I've seen in sometime. It teaches patience, directions, pride in your work, craftsmanship and the importance of doing a job right." I totally agree Charlie. May have to change to something simpler next year as I changing from Grade 5 to Grade3. Hmm ... possibly 2015 Mustang snap kit?
  22. "Way cool!" Thanks Dale. "Great fun building with kiddos, I've done it myself." Yes Robin, it was great fun. Thanks for for the comment. "Very clean work on all of the kits!" Eric, the kids will appreciate the compliment. Thanks for posting. "What a fantastic idea!" Steve, my class sure thought it was a fantastic idea. After I brought the kits into the class, they could hardly wait to get started. "FANTASTIC!" Thanks G "I say they all did a great job!" Again, thanks for the compliment Dave. The kids had never used an airbrush before, let alone a double action. I showed them how I used it, and they adapted to what was comfortable and worked for them. They took to it like a duck to water. Even I was more than pleasantly surprised when I saw the results they were achieving.
  23. Charlie, I am very fortunate that both my Pricipal and the students' parents were very supportive of the idea. The school's parent council generously funded 2/3 of the cost, while I covered the other 1/3. I am a strong believer in hands-on learning, creating, and the pride that it builds.
  24. And finally concluded … And, the ‘Parking Lot’ shot …
