  1. Agreed, under hood looks very good. Great scale affect.
  2. Real enough to drive. You have posted some fantastic builds on the Forum. Look forward to future postings.
  3. Very slick looking (in a Great way) Viper. Yes, I dig this!
  4. Simply beautiful.
  5. Do you have any under-the-hood-shots? Would really like to see them, in fact more pictures would be good.
  6. x 2 Did you make your own fender flares or did you get them from a kit? They look great, and will allow for much improved rim/tire combinations.
  7. First off, welcome to the Forum Paul. I'm like you in that I have many started but few finished. When I see a finished model, my eyes are always drawn to visible mold lines and parts seem lines. Call me crazy. LOL Something like an out of box build is finished at the comfort level of the builder, so may or may not be important. The completed model that do puzzle me are the ones that are immaculate ... paint, fit, finish, details ... however no seem/mold lines have been removed from radiators, engine blocks, transmissions, exhaust systems and so on. If the builder went to theses lengths to achieve realism, why leave behind blemishes that give the finished model a toy-like appearance? I know, I know, this has been covered a million times before. And of course, this is my take on things.
  8. Mike, I sure hope you will post the race version in the Under Glass section, when you are done. The Cosmo is a beautiful looking car which rivals the Toyota 2000 of that time period.
  9. Aardvark Models is Andy Martin. He is a member here. http://www.aardvarkmodels.com/
  10. Yes, welcome back Wayne. It is great that your return to the bench gave you such a sense of satisfaction. And yes, hopefully you will return to the bench much more frequently in the future! LOL
  11. The .5 needle/nozzle from an Iwata Revolution series is cross referenced as the optional set for the Iwata HP-CS. I have done this to my HP-CS, and it is much more forgiving in terms of paint viscosity. You can download the parts/users manual for an Iwata Revolution. This will give you the Iwata part numbers for the needle, nozzle and nozzle cap. Hope this helps. I just found the information for the 0.5 needle. The Iwata part number is I 617 1
  12. Wow, a couple of Meister Braus and Orange Blossom Specials ... wish I had those in my stash LOL
  13. Good progress so far. You have my interest. What a wicked, fast car that was.
  14. Should you end up with this second HP-CS, you could have one set up with the .35 needle and the other with the .5 needle. That way, no need to switch.

The interior is Tom's usual outstanding work. Look here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/105936-bmw-i8/
  16. You have some great kits to choose from. Having some with Tamiya front forks is a bonus.
  17. 917s and 956s are my favourite Porsches. This looks to be a beauty.
  18. I really like your non-shiny build. The flathead looks right at home.
  19. I have a C-1 kit for the F12 Berlinetta. After seeing your amazing build, I better get the Fujimi kit soon. I really like the colour, and everything about your model.
  20. Pat, I really like your take on this '69 Mustang.
  21. This is just jaw-dropping WOW!
  22. Sweet Porsche build!
