  1. Yes, Sean, I've seen planes made from coroplast posters. That's another good way to make cheap, simple planes to just have fun with, and not worry about ruining a high investment plane! Sam
  2. Very nice custom Ford! Great color, and the top looks good! Good work! Sam
  3. Nice bike! The leather work on the seat is great, as are the taped exhaust pipes. Super job on this! Sam
  4. I just built this little RC delta from two sheets of 3/16" thick foamboard from Dollar Tree ($1.00 per 20"x30" sheet) held together with hot glue. I patterned it after one I saw on flitetest.com. It has double thickness on the front 40% of the wing, forming a Kline-Fogelman stepped airfoil of sorts. It uses a motor, speed control, radio, and other stuff I had laying around. It weighs about 10 ounces, and spans 28". It uses elevon control, where the control surfaces on the trailing edge of the wing can move in opposite directions for ailerons, or together for elevators. It should be fast and fun, and my investment was all of $2.00!
  5. That is the best build of that kit I've ever seen, Tulio! GREAT work! The finish is perfect. I like your philosophy of details. At some point it becomes too much work to be fun. Sam
  6. Very cool '32! I like the half a hemi engine! Nice weathering too. Very creative! Sam
  7. Lookin' good! I love the 62 Darts! Sam
  8. Nice! Great color and chassis details. Good work! Sam
  9. Wow! That is creative and so well done! Traditional, but different. Very nice work! Sam
  10. Looks like something Gumby would drive!

  13. It's a beauty! Very nice work! Sam
  14. Welcome, Joe! I'm in PA too. Centre County, near PSU! You'll like it here! Sam
  15. Very neat concept, and well done! Lots of character there! Great work! Sam
  16. Very cool! I like that kit. I built two of them - one with fenders, and one without. I might have to do a third one as a roadster after seeing this! Sam
  17. Great diorama! So many nice details. Wonderful work on this! I made a campground diorama a while back in 1/12 scale, but yours is more detailed. Here's a shot of mine.
  18. Very nice model! I like the white and green colors, and the windshield change adds a lot! Great work! Sam
  19. I don't know what it is, but I like how the exhaust pipes are set into the body. Sam
  20. Very nice work on the chop! It does look like a tough job to do. Sam
  21. Welcome from another guy that was out of the hobby and came back. I didn't build a model car for 30 years, then got back into it when I saw how much better today's kits are than the ones I built as a teenager in the 1960s! Sam
  22. Just a beautiful model! What a great transformation! I'm glad you saved this old classic. Great work! Sam
  23. To all who commented on the spare tire treatment: Making that cutout would have been a lot easier if the fenders were separate pieces, but on this kit the bed and fenders are molded in one piece. The trick was cutting the plastic out with my Dremel abrasive wheel without damaging the bed rail. I taped a thin piece of aluminum against the rail during the cutting, and it got several nicks, but saved the bed from damage! Sam
