  1. Very nice build, especially for a teenager! My builds never looked that good when I was a kid! Great color! Sam
  2. I agree 100%! Great detailing, and the Nomad grille is genius! Excellent work! Sam
  3. I've used a Krylon spray paint called Almond. It's a very light tan. Here it is on my 50 Olds. Sam
  4. Looking good! Love the headers! Sam
  5. I got some paint on it and rusted it up. It's coming along! Sam
  6. Surf's up! Looks good - nice color choice. Good work! Sam
  7. I scratch built a 38 GMC COE car hauler a few weeks ago, which kind of put me in a cabover mood, so I got a 41 Ford resin cab and I'm using it on a scratch built wrecker. I had four truck wheels left over from the GMC build, so I'm using them. The model is curbside, with no chassis or engine details. The bed is from a 67 Chevy pickup, modified with fenders made from a Testors spray paint can lid. The wrecker boom is made from evergreen channel, angle, sheet styrene, and jewelry chain (tedious job!). I plan to finish it as a well worn, rusty, neglected service truck with character!
  8. Very nice! I like the color! Nice interior too! Sam

  16. Very nice, clean build! Great paint and engine details. Great work! Sam
  17. I recently rebuilt a Jo-Han 62 Dart kit from the 1908's, and it had the wrong dash in it, too. Sam

  21. Congrats, Mike! I was married 25 years, and the wife walked out. Then I married a very nice lady six years later. It's been good! Best of luck to you and your fiancée and kids! Sam

  24. Here's a thread about those go karts. The engines look like West Bend 2-strokers. I think I have one of those engines and sprockets somewhere.
