  2. That what I'm talking about! That's a great start.

There you go. Looks even better.
  4. Thanks dragzz, I got the tractor stripped and a new shifter and lever made. Primed with Self Etching primer.
  5. And, you could have a lot of fun with the old Hubley kits in 1/20 scale.
  6. The split axle stubs are the same way the diecast car wheels have been attached for years now. It certainly should not be an issue with a plastic model. Oh, I should mention that many of those are rated for 3+ yrs of age but some are 5+.
  7. In addition to what Art just explained, Revell may be in a Foreign-Trade Zone. There is one here in Goodyear AZ and the duty free benefits are incredible for manufactures.
  8. That sure is lookin' pertty.
  9. Thanks guys. It was a fun little project while waiting for paint & putty to dry on other projects.

They look good in the photos. I know it's little late now but those are not that hard to paint on.
  11. I tried it again and i can not get the img way to work. It looked as if the photo was here reading the source. Again, using Fotki it doesn't any easier than using the Forum Code that I have been doing for years. i'll stick to that. Thanks
  12. 7-10 PSI is great if you are spraying stripes on. It will take a while but you will have almost no edge on your stripes. I normally use around 20 PSI. I'll play with it the next time I airbrush but I have never used 30 PSI on a model.
  13. I tore this Cougar apart because the steering wheel was rolling around loose inside the car. After getting it apart and knowing I already had good one, I decided to change it up some. White interior just sounded like a good idea.
  14. I normally do what High octane does but do test when the unknown to me is present. Like air brushing craft paints and paints I have not used before, which are not many after about thirty years. The only issue I have had with Testors is the nozzle and that's only one more recent cans. I have had some awesome paint jobs with the cheap bottle paints by adding hardener to it. I'm sure you're going to get there Kevin.
  15. Ok, but that's the same as "Right click - copy" a photo and "right click-paste" in the post window, which is much easier. The problem with that is I think it adds band width to the cost of running this site. Using the "forum Codes" provided by the photo storage places is only a link to the photo.
  16. There you go. They look great. I always have primered spoons ready and spay every color I use for future color choices on projects. Nothing better than seeing the real thing.
  17. Nice job Chuck. Tom, I think I had them all as well plus a white one that had no markings. I sold most of them off, being lucky to get $15.00ea. As crude as they are they were considered pretty good back in the day. How about a big truck. Ertl 1/25 1/25 Dually. I think this one is Brookfield SpecCast 1/25 F-350 Ford SpecCast 34 Ford in 1/25 ScecCast 1/25 57 Chevy stake, came with a lawn tractor
  18. It is Nassau Blue Metallic #28128
  19. Welcome back Randy! These were made by Yorkshire in 1/25 Diecast 1917 Ford 1927 Ford Cherry Picker
  20. That's a good one Tom. I tried everything to use the [i m g] in the above post and could not get it to work. While doing that my computer CRASHED. Now it can not find a Boot Disc Fortunately I had a new one about ready to go and I 'm now on it I'll stick the Copy Paste or the Forum Code link if I want it to be able to link to Fotki.
  21. A lot of the photos Greg is posting are from random web sites. Here is a try doing that with the [i m g] http://u.jimdo.com/www400/o/se372970042158879/img/i5f8b0863f77d28f5/1438707574/std/image.jpg[/img url] If you want to easily post photos from your photos storage place Right Click on the photo and copy or use the correct link provided.
  22. Tom, I hope it's ok post these here while on the subject. how can you not love a 47 Studebaker by Ertl in 1/25
  23. Can you post a photo of the real car hood you want?
  24. I'm in that TV commercial, it was filmed at the Goodyear mall. The Goodyear mall is larger and Way newer and they have free coffee. IT is at I-10 and Dysart next to the Lowe's store. I'm there three days a week in the mornings.
