  1. Thanks! Lance, That was Mar-Hyde Aircraft Paint Remover in a spray can. It was by far the best out there, but It is no longer available. I tried the Aircraft paint remover be Klean-Strip but it does not do well on diecast baked on paint. These are 1/8 rivets glued in 1/4 Styrene to adapt the Highway 61 Wheels to the Chevy spindles. Engine wired and interior fastened to the chassis. My helper working on the radiator frame
  2. Thanks Casey, I knew it was nothing to do with MCM but I know a lot of members here use Fotki. I was surprised that no one else brought this up as it was quite the issue getting it to work. Fotki has several servers and you have to add each one as necessary.
  3. Quote Test. I am typing on an iPad and it working just fine. Even the spell check.
  4. Wow! That looks great. Really like the diver door window part way down.
  5. Did you add tags to a post?
  6. I have the Exoto in that finish, Very Nice!
  7. Thanks, I see that now. When I tried it earlier it didn't have the "This Forum" like the old one had. COOL!
  8. I posted about this in the other post in "Off Topics" http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/103976-new-look/?page=4
  9. Here is the interior painted with Model Masters texture paint. Here we have installed the interior from a Highway 61 1967 Olds. The door panel took some trimming. The grey seat is one of the original Chevy seats. The molded on door handle ground off and paint stripped. More to come!
  10. Well, up til now I had no issues on any of my devices. I tried putting TAGS in and can only put 4 tags in. It will not update the post giving the notice shown below. I have tried it on IE, Chrome and Firefox, all up to date. The line reads "Enter at least 5 tags, and up to 4 tags" and does not make sense to me. Am I missing something? Also I noticed the search does not allow search of a certain section. That makes it just about useless. "FIXED"
  11. Coca-Cola Johnny Lightning 1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery in 1/18 scale. The hood has a cutout option like Ertl had plans for some Hot Rod versions.
  12. Love it!
  13. Thanks guys, I did a custom sedan delivery from one of these. If it's not posted I'll do so. Lance, They do not have side trim. I have some 1/2 round styrene and thought about but decided to go cheap. If you are going to get serious about cutting diecast you can't beat the Roto-Zip. It comes with a Dremel type flex shaft as well.
  14. That is very nice. I missed the first one.
  15. That is so COOL!
  16. I get the same on IE, Firefox, Chrome and so far seems fine on iPhone and iPad. I have not had any issues seeing or posting photos. I do want to thank Brett Barrow for the tip on the iPhone to get to the last page.
  17. Diecast Ertl Bantam
  18. Oh Ya! That's looking very nice
  19. Bump for the Wagon Craze
  20. Very nice.
  21. Welcome David. This will keep you busy for a few days. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showforum=27
  22. That is very cool! Love the 1:1 version I just found the popper chopper I built about that same time.
  23. I use accelerator just about every time I use ca glue and have never had an issue. I might add I use ca glue just about every day.
