  1. Beautiful color and a great looking model.
  2. I love these engines. I just found my Hot Rod version. Fotki is not working so I'll post a photo later.
  3. Built up quite nicely.
  4. Got to be getting warm there soon. Would love to see those in progress photos. I have a Franklin Mint B&C with bullet holes somewhere. Is it accurate to the correct car? Have Fun!
  5. I'm not a fan of that style Mustang but it does look like DM did a fine job on it.
  6. Great Idea! I'll be watching this one.
  7. That is a great looking model. BUT .. What the heck is that coming out of the coil? It looks like a line going to the firewall. The coil wire should be coming out the bottom and right to the distributor.
  8. Happy Birthday Young Man! I better go find out how to turn that thing Harry mentioned on.
  9. I picked this one up yesterday at the Brass Armadillo Antique mall in Goodyear Az, just couldn't pass it up. Product Miniature 52 Plymouth 4 door in 1/20 scale.
  10. Much nicer.
  11. I got my tables reserved for the swap Meet. Look forward to seeing you guys and all those great models. AzTom
  12. Looks good, what did you do to it?
  13. Al, All of your cars look great, wheels can make the car! The Ertl 67 Corvette has smaller axles than most cars. Get some sizes of Styrene tubing to reduce the hole size of the GMP wheels and you will be ok. As Al stated getting the old one off can be tricky. I use two flat screw drivers, one down each side of the axle and twist in opposite directions to Pop the wheel off. Here is a Tire Wheel guide with some info. http://public.fotki.com/aztom/toys--models/die-cast-118-cars--/118-tire-and-wheel-guide/ Good luck!
  14. Nice Save!
  15. For me .... Lift it up some and dirive it. I need to get one of these to make stock with some wooden side boards
  16. I'm with Krazglu. Paint the pink to match the dark purple.
  17. I have a few hundred but started selling them off at the local antique mall. As for the value it seems a lot of them took a dive like most other collectibles. I have late 70's and up for under $20.00 and some for only $12.00, all new in box never displayed and they don't sell very well. My best ones are the 66 & 67 Corvette, may keep those, at least until the prices rebound some.
  18. I've been waiting for photos of the model Having grown up on a junk yard I have to say you nailed this one.
  19. Mine either ... unless I find one at about $50.00. I already have more cars than I'll ever be able to display and I have the kits.
  20. 1937 Ford Pickup
  21. Looking good. Are you going to correct the mold lines down the side of the cab for the 38 look? I too need to make a true 38 and was thinking of sanding off the 37 rib lines and adding 1/2 round styrene to make the three ribs. Not sure is the cab is thick enough.
  22. Nice job, the wheels really made a big difference.
  23. I've had my share of those lol.
