Now that turned out super nice, Great save. That looks like Bandai. These old Japanese Tinplate cars, especially the larger ones have some serious value. My friend recently sold his large Imperial at auction for over $20,0000.

New resin Dolly wheels and rear tires installed. The hub caps are clothing Nailhead Suds. The prongs are just shoved into the rubber wheel. Wood deck varnished

I am quite aware of the value of these, I have been collecting them for over 45 years and most of the ones I'm modifying I also have new in the box or at least very nice ones. I have been selling off a lot of them over the past six years, you got one of them. I had a 700+ lot toy auction and a few hundred toys in a another auction just before leaving Ohio. I still have several thousand to play with. Thanks for your concern though. When I get to the end of this one you will see it was "Priceless" Stay tuned

Thanks. This was the first time I had used that Createx paint but won't be my last. That stuff goes on so easy and clean up is a cinch. I don't think you could mess it up spraying it on if you tried. One of the Dolly wheels is missing so made a mold and resin cast those. Buford mounting the tires after painting the rims. The trailer painted up and going back together. I did this one several months ago. It is a 50's Hubley truck that had been painted with a brush and well played with. It is about 1/20 scale. As Found, Paint removed and painted with a Self-Etching primer. A must when doing the diecast. The Cab airbrushed with acrylic blue and clear coated a few times. The head light lens are from the Hubly 32 Chevy kit. I bare metal foiled the bumper and used that "Rub on chrome" for the grill and hood trim. That was for comparison, figured I could always BM over the grill later. I'll post some more tomorrow.

Thanks Guys. I'm not sure on the color yet, probably why it's going so slow. I was thinking Oliver tractor colors, the dark green and clove, light green almost white used on the Oliver wheels. That way I could use it as a hauling truck for a couple of restored Oliver show tractors being 1/16 scale. It's a little large for 1/18 but I do have a few 1/16 cars so I could go that way as well. ????????? The truck and trailer measures 24in long.

I would have thought the MF1155 was about the same size as the G1000 but I have never see the two next to each other. You could go big scale, Ertl made the G1000 in 1/16 scale diecast.

Harry, He does look like a barbecued alien,lol I was not paying attention when I took those photos, that little guy does not belong with this kit. Chuck, You might be able to convert the MF tractor to a Moline,it has that type of cab.

The 41 Chevy has some great body lines. Nice idea with the Corvette engine and wheels although it would look better all one color. On most of these diecast you can wash off the graphics with NON Acetone nail polish remover and save the paint. Tom

Thanks, I stripped the paint and brazed up the corner cuts on the trailer. Also did some bondo work and primer today. I also cut the door lines it the cab, these came with almost none showing.

It is 1/20 scale. One that was built with some broken parts recently went off ebay for $164.00 Good Luck.

I have this one started now but it's going rather slow. The cab is a 1/16 Ertl International diecast cab from the 70's. The trailer is a Wyanndott pressed steel trailer for the early 50's. As you can see the cab has been well played with a painted several times. Here is the cab cleaned up and shown with the tailer as found.

That is a reaction between the rubber and plastic, happens on a lot of the European die-cast as well. The plastic becomes soft, kind of melting.

That looks great, really like the taillights.
