  1. That's a clean looking model. The paint job and detailing are really nice, very realistic looking.
  2. I owned a 1976 SAAB 99 EMS and had a lot of fun driving it. Would like to see a model of that car.
  3. While I don't know anyone personally here I want to first thank Gregg for providing us with this place to get together and share info. and ideas. I also want to thank Harry, Romell and the other moderators for doing what they can to keep things running smoothly. Thank you to Dr Cranky (Virgil Suarez), Bill Geary, John Teresi, and so many others for building and showing such amazing models and being so helpful with useful information.
  4. This is a very impressive offer by Moebius, great customer support. I will definitely check out all future models you guys release.
  5. Earlier I posted a list of some cars and trucks I'd like to see, I'll put the trucks here and add a couple. 1940s Dodge Power Wagon 1960s Jeep FC-150 and FC-170 pickups 1960s IH pickup and Scout 4x4
  6. If this is limited to American vehicles, here are some I'd like to see; Late 40s Dodge Power Wagon 51 Studebaker "Bulletnose" 62-64 Studebaker Hawk GT Mid 60s Cheetah Mid 60s IH pickups and Scout 4x4 2000s Cadillac CTS-V Sedan and Coupe
  7. Great build. The realistic weathering, rusting, dents, and holes in the body show a lot of imagination and work in creating this model.
  8. Awesome for sure. Dr Cranky thanks, ...I think, for showing us these amazing modellers. The problem is my work is nowhere near this level but, it is nice to see what can be done and get new ideas. Thanks again for finding and showing these models.
  9. That is very creative, very unique. Really cool.
  10. That is really amazing!!!
  11. Thanks for posting this reminder. I plan on watching at least some of the race, depending how busy I am. Saw part of another V8 Super Car race from Australia and it was quite interesting, lots of action and great sounding cars.
  12. Len, Nice, clean looking build. The colors look very realistic for cars of that era.
  13. An amazing build. So much scratchbuilding and detailing, and it looks fantastic. Kiitoksia paljon for sharing it with us.
  14. Very nice build of this model Brendan. Where do you find these 1/43 scale sports car models?
  15. I found this link on another forum and hope I'm doing this right so it can be opened here. These models are quite amazing, IMO. http://www.trackforum.com/forums/showthread.php?151266-Some-of-the-Most-Fantastic-Recreations-I-ve-Ever-Seen
  16. While I'm not especially interested in Hudsons I plan on buying at least one when they come out. I want to help support a company that seems interested in offerlng something other than early '30s Fords and mid '50s Chevys. Oh, I'd also like the '64 Corvair Rampvan and Greenbrier.
  17. I got into comfy and found it very difficult to read then couldn't figure out how to switch to something else. Thank you very much, Len and Johnny, for the answer.
  18. In the description of the show it mentioned 1964 Chrysler turbine car and manual. I just watched it and no turbine, or any model car.
  19. Very nice looking model.
  20. #158 looks like a really good issue. The articles on building the SoCal lakester and on weathering the Fordson tractor are very interesting to me. Actually the entire issue is informative and entertaining. Harry, the design and layout of this isssue are great.
  21. I would like to find some 1/24 or 1/25 scale tires for Land Speed Record models. They are rounded cross section, with no tread and relatively small in width (not like drag slicks). Are they available from somewhere or do they have to be scratchbuilt? How would you scratchbuild them? Thank you guys for any sources/information you can give.
  22. A nicely built model with a really smooth looking matt paint job. Are the white designs decals or paint? It's beautiful.
  23. I went to the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona last weekend and saw several old (1;1) front engined dragsters. I noticed they all had parachutes mounted on them. When I used to go to Lions Drag Strip, a long time ago (late 1950s to the early 60s), they were not using parachutes. Just wondering, what year were parachutes first used on dragsters? I imagine they all have them now as a requirement for the nostalgic races they run at these days.
  24. That is an amazing model, BEAUTIFUL!!!! If you have more models of Bonneville cars please post them. Thank you for showing this build.
