  1. You build some great models Tulio but your politics really don't belong here.
  2. Interesting. It has a more old school vibe than coilovers and tubular control arms.
  3. Holy Moly these ROCK!
  4. Everything you have posted looks outstanding!
  5. Thanks, I lowered the rear about 1/8 inch. All the real c3s that I have seen sit level or slightly nose high so I tried to replicate that stance.
  6. Thanks everyone and I recommend this kit to all of you. I had no problems at all with the build due to poor fit or engineering and nothing was warped for a change. My only gripe is the lack of decals for the body badges and interior details. The visors were cut from the windshield frame to ease painting or they would not be a problem.
  7. I'm calling this one done although she still doesn't have sun visors or an inside mirror. Can't come up with a way to attach the visors other than CA which may fog the upper edge of the glass and I must have thrown away the mirror with the chrome sprue. I forgot a lesson that I learned as a kid - don't throw away the sprues until the model is finished! Some pics with the top up: I just love this color! Top down; It looks twisted in the next pic but it's just camera distortion; I used an air cleaner from a Revell Shelby mustang because I think the original is ugly even though it negates the ram air setup: Yeah, I know it has the floating alternator thing but it doesn't really bother me. Two things that I know are wrong are the headrests shouldn't be on a 68 and I got the mirror too far forward on the door. The only non-OOB parts are the air cleaner and the red line decals on the tires. I didn't mention using them in the WIP just so there would be a little surprise at the finish. Thanks for the interest and any criticism is welcome.
  8. The SBC is a disappointment to me too. A y-block or properly done early Hemi would be nice.
  9. Here's a Mustang painted with Testors Champagne gold enamel over the bare white plastic and cleared with Glosscote enamel.
  10. Not my style of Deuce but you did a great job on it.
  11. That looks really nice George and i like your back drop also.
  12. Thanks everyone. I tried to do the 55 as a backyard built race car with the real money spent on the engine and the 56 as the type of mild custom that was parked in old photos of Larry Watsons shop.
  13. Got bored and took new pics of old models. Both are 1/24 Revellogram oldies (as if you can't tell). Neither one is my best work but I kind of like them as they exude that low buck atmosphere.
  14. Some more good rust.
  15. That's some of the best rust I have ever seen. Nice work!
  16. need one to build a replica of a car I used to own.
  17. This is looking really good!
  18. I don't have the answer but I'm smelling a stock build happening here. Bring it on!
  19. Ooh, I like that.
  20. The Moroso valve covers come in the kit. They are too tall to allow the vacuum chamber to fit on the firewall if it matters.
  21. While my mojo is still working I am going to finish this one. As you can see, it has been ten months since my last update. All she needs are some mirrors and the sun visors.
  22. Outstanding! Looks so much like a real car that it's not even funny.
  23. Mama Mia, Mama Mia that looks good.
  24. That's pretty. Good color for a Charger.
