  1. The whitewall tire in my pic came from the Ohio George Ranchero kit with the date 7/23/2014 on the box bottom so it is a very recent release.
  2. That's what I was trying to say, they still have the tire mold available so why give us the crappy "snow tires".
  3. As you wish! Ranchero tire with whitewall and original Corvair tire on right: Look identical except for the whitewall and material to me.
  4. I don't get why Round 2 included those tires. They have the perfect tires in the 60 Ranchero kits.
  5. You know, back in the seventies there was a story in Hot Rod magazine about Goodyear making some colored tires but that was the last I ever heard of them. They had pics of orange and blue and maybe some other colors. Big Daddy used to run orange front tires on his first rear engined Swamp rat.
  6. Every one is a masterpiece.
  7. Nice one Snake. It looks exactly as it should for the time period that you built it in. My teenage years were full of models that looked just about the same.
  8. I would like to see some Road Hugger tires in kits. Back in the muscle car days me and my buddies had these on our cars because they were cheaper than a name brand and looked good. They were the poor mans polyglas GTs.
  9. You are doing some great work on this kit. Kudos from a lifelong MOPAR fan.
  10. Beautiful rendition of a classic kit as well as a classic 50s - early 60s hot rod.

    Way 2 Fast

    Now that rocks! Great model.
  12. Amen Brother! My thoughts exactly.
  13. Well....I didn't finish any cars this year but these two are very close. They both just need final details. Revell 68 Vette convertible Still needs one rocker trim painted and some mirrors and exhaust tips. Double Dragster Fiat Needs parachute and fuel tank cap and some decals of course.
  14. Way to go Bill! Welcome to Mopar land and I know you will love this car. An automatic is nice after a hard days work and having to drive home in stop and go traffic. the solid white paint and the wheels look great . It's nothing but greed that insurance companies want to charge the same rate for a v6 car just because it is the same platform as a real muscle car.
  15. How do the windows fit?
  16. Great work and I hope the chop turns out that well on mine.
  17. Red Skelton
  18. Thanks, I have never looked at all the parts that come with that kit.
  19. Wow JB, this is awesome. Haven't seen one of these being built since they were new.
  20. There's a real car like this with a Latham blower?
  21. Hey snake, I like your model and you can't go wrong with Nassau blue. Where did those valve covers come from? I need a set for a replica of my 69 Camaro that I plan on building.
  22. Blinded By The Light
  23. Thank you for posting this. My younger brother had the 70 kit that was molded in yellow with a clear hood and tall velocity stacks.
  24. OMG, it's Vegas on wheels! (referring to the last pic)
