  1. I got one "That sounded expensive"
  2. Oh Brother, Where Art Thou
  3. Here's one of my best paint jobs ever. Revell 50 Ford pickup built a few years ago when I was still living in the mountains.
  4. Welcome to my world. Lol
  5. Great googly moogly that is beautiful! What a paint job!
  6. I'm not new to the stripping and repainting game as I have been doing it for years. The BMF I used was some really old stuff that I have had for years-maybe that was the problem. I have some newer stuff but as most of us know it doesn't stick well. Anyway, I have already stripped the body and prepped it for new paint. I try to avoid primer because it just creates a thicker layer of paint and things normally go well without it. Gonna try painting again this afternoon but no more BMF for me. I'm just disillusioned with the paint and BMF problems that most of us have experienced over the last few years. Always felt like BMF was way overpriced anyway as I have to model on a budget.
  7. Beautiful!
  8. I like it!
  9. Great work!
  10. Nice Caddy. As Pop used to say on Pawn stars "this is class".
  11. Looking better all the time.
  12. Paint looks nice.
  13. Yeah. Killed my motivation for this one. Think I'll go back to building tanks for awhile.
  14. Well this one's toast. Started foiling the rear window and the foil pulled the paint up. So it's going in the junk box. Last time it will ever mess with BMF. From now on I will stick to my silver Sharpie.
  15. Jeez that thing had to be doing some serious floating at that speed.
  16. Got the interior done and took a pic of the major subassemblies. Next step is the most nerve wracking part for me- body detailing. Soooo many ways to mess things up.
  17. Looks good.
  18. Nice work!
  19. Very nice! I love it.
  20. Bwa-ha-ha ha-ha! I learned when I was young and had rough jobs working with rough characters that appearing to be a little dangerous is a good thing.
  21. I like the scripts but not the chrome for this build. Think I achieved a decent effect fo the dash. This is Tamiya dark Ghost Gray with some pearl clear. hard to get it to show in pics.
