  1. Not from a US model company, only about 35 people in the US even know what one is. I'm not sure they were ever imported here.
  2. What ever happened to clean, shiny cars?
  3. Of the old promos the 57 Olds hasn't been seen in a long time.
  4. My brother had a 64 GTO and I reworked the body and re painted it for him, so I think I know the subject well. I have no problems with the Polar Lights body. Plus it's 1/25 scale for kit bashing so it's my choice, the Monogram kit is OK unless you want to do better under the hood.
  5. OK, I posted on page one before finding page two. It seems you cant buy it anymore. I'm glad I still have a stash because it works great. That muddy green self etching primer works good too.
  6. Floquil Barrier, look for it in the model rail road area. Airbrush or spray cans.
  7. Is electricity really a clean, or green, energy if it comes from a coal, oil, or diesel generating plant? I laugh when I see our city buses with their "zero emissions vehicle" bumper stickers. (And the diesel engine just screaming to run the AC ) When Henry Ford was working for Thomas Edison and building his first car in his shed Edison advised Ford to go with a gas engine. "Electric vehicles have no future" Edison said.
  8. I have a Fender Strat but I don't do it justice. Pretty good on the blues harp thoe.
  9. Too bad it won't build stock anymore. Does anyone recast the old AAM resin stock parts?
  10. 63 Dodge please, it's never been re-issued. Also, about the shallow interiors, cut them apart, use the dash, wheel and seats. Fab the side panels and use a floor from a new kit. Looks great and is much easier than scratch building the whole thing.
  11. Very nice! We called them "Skinny Chickens"
  12. The classics, Robot Chicken. And yes, Beavis and Butthead are coming back this month, on the 27'th I think. All new, not re runs.
  13. Interesting subject, but I'll wait about 6 months, if history repeats itself for Trumpeter kits my local Hobbytown USA will have them for half off.
  14. Early Jo Han stuff was sized to fit a standard box, so small cars like the lark tend to be over sized, and big cars like a Cadillac Fleetwood were undersized.
  15. Okey was at the Columbus Indiana show yesterday and had more Johan stuff than I've seen him with in a long time.
  16. To me all four of those cars look alike, guess I'm old.
  17. Close, now it needs the fake big nose, bushy mustache and eyebrows!
  18. It still looks like Groucho glasses on the Mona Lisa.
  19. Those 70's and older cars just look so WRONG on these modern big wheels.
  20. My old first issue monogram 40 Ford built stock, wish I still had it.
  21. That's some funny stuff right there, I don't care who you are!
