My brother had a 64 GTO and I reworked the body and re painted it for him, so I think I know the subject well. I have no problems with the Polar Lights body. Plus it's 1/25 scale for kit bashing so it's my choice, the Monogram kit is OK unless you want to do better under the hood.
OK, I posted on page one before finding page two. It seems you cant buy it anymore. I'm glad I still have a stash because it works great. That muddy green self etching primer works good too.
Is electricity really a clean, or green, energy if it comes from a coal, oil, or diesel generating plant? I laugh when I see our city buses with their "zero emissions vehicle" bumper stickers. (And the diesel engine just screaming to run the AC )
When Henry Ford was working for Thomas Edison and building his first car in his shed Edison advised Ford to go with a gas engine. "Electric vehicles have no future" Edison said.
63 Dodge please, it's never been re-issued. Also, about the shallow interiors, cut them apart, use the dash, wheel and seats. Fab the side panels and use a floor from a new kit. Looks great and is much easier than scratch building the whole thing.
Early Jo Han stuff was sized to fit a standard box, so small cars like the lark tend to be over sized, and big cars like a Cadillac Fleetwood were undersized.
