  1. That's a winner! G
  2. Ok all you serious car builders, what roof should I use to transform this (and the Chevy Nova hatchback) into a 4 door? I drove 4 door versions of both in my career. G
  3. Gentlemen you can't fight in here, this is the war room! G
  4. I couldn't locate a photo I liked from the movie, so how about a generic pic of Raquel from the '70's G
  5. A little googling revealed the movie van was supposedly repurposed into an actual ambulance after filming. The AC didn't work with the Hollywood custom grill so the front end was put back to stock. http://www.7173mustangs.com/thread-anyone-remember-the-movie-mother-jugs-and-speed G
  6. The entire front fascia is stock. I'm wondering if the "current day" photos are of a clone. G
  7. Another work week has passed and I have time for this again. I added detail not normally seen on the typical "in service" tank model. This one is what I call showroom new. Turret complete. Now the fun part, replicating the temporary covering used when shipping a new vehicle overseas. I chose BMF to start. G
  8. Thank you gents. I missed you earlier Wayne, so Thank you too sir!. G
  9. The Volo Auto Museum is worth the trip. G
  10. The light bar in the "Cop Out" kit is a dead ringer for the old "Mars" light bar used for two decades by Chicago PD. G
  11. Nice clean work so far. I'll be watching. G
  12. Using the AMT kit I built a vehicle as I remember from my early career. The Ford van's were assigned to the Laboratory Division and used as Crime Scene "command posts" at major scenes. They sat empty most of the time with mission specific equipment being loaded as needed. Ladders and spotlights were always present however. This is the modern day version. A bit more generic. This is a period "Evidence Technician Unit" van. Same principle but used daily. Quite a bit more gear inside. Here's what I did. The build thread is here. G
  13. Thank you all who followed along. Today, with a heavy heart, I shall post this in "Under Glass". G
  14. The news from Dallas. I'm physically sick. G
  15. Thanks Carl. I finished this up just before I left for work so more photos tomorrow and then she goes "Under Glass" G
