I finished this the other day. I included a MasterBox figure. He looks rather forlorn sitting up there I think. G

Yes it was, thanks. No overturned autos, medivac choppers, UFO's, or angry aliens interfered on the drive back. I am still disappointed by the new bridge over the Colorado river though. The retaining walls are just tall enough to prevent a spectacular view of the Hoover Dam or the valley below. Then again, me thinks thats the point. G

Bronxrumble5's superb MaK build reminded me I have also done something along these lines. I built this as a Marine from the not so distant future. This was a kit called, as I remember, "101st Spaceborne". Well that was way too "Army" for an old Jarhead so I changed it. G

Oh upgrade you will! I now have five airbrushes, and have found a specific use for all of them. My lovely wife keeps suggesting others as she sees them. Whats a good husband to do? G

The drive was definately worth it. Not only did I meet several forum members, I was able to swap war stories with Danno. It seems the "B" man and I have quite a bit in common, scary actually. Keith, Jonathan and Dale were listening intently, not quite fully believing the tales. I assure you gentlemen, no lies were told. MrsG thoroughly enjoyed herself, and I too think it's best we keep her and MrsB away from each other for a bit. Danno and I require additional time to, ahem, set the record straight first. ie. "You lie, I'll swear to it." I obtained some kits, actually MrsG insisted I purchase them, which I so desperately needed. Ya gotta love a wife who supports the hobby. She is a princess, and I truly believe this time I got it right. G

Utah Arizona Nevada Alliance The ID placard is a composite of the Arizona state flag over the Utah and Nevada state flags. I hand painted this on a scrap of sheet plastic. G

I finally finished this puppy. All markings were hand painted. This will eventually be part of a post apocalyptic diorama set "somewhere in Las Vegas". I have figures on order, and the makings for the base. Now I just have to get started. G

Treat yourself and order some of Archers products. Their dry transfers have been a staple of armor modelers for years now, and the new textured decals are simply marvelous. The casting marks for Sherman tanks are second to none. G

Gotta love Vegas, upside down or right side up it's all the same. Gotta go see John and get me some primer. G

Oh heck yeah. We'll be leaving at 0330 or so, making the trek fueled by coffee. Now that the bridge over the Colorado river is finished, the commute is shortened by at least an hour. I'll be the chubby cranky guy with the bubbly blonde wife. G

I just might make it to this one. I planned on coming down in November, but have to go somewhere else instead (family commitment). I'll check with the war department and chime in later tonight. Can I bring a build or two? G

Season 3B, Episode 497a. This car was briefly seen standing in for GL #542, in Hooter's brother in law's uncle's garage right before Boss Hogg's second cousin twice removed, arrived. Nice build, push bars a bit off though............................................ G

Oh yeah! We'd go on those doggone 4-5 mile runs and be right up against the boundry fence between MCRD and NTC. Then the masochistic bassiges would run us next to the fence between MCRD and Lindbergh Field. Nothing like being in phase three and watching those airliners come and go all day. Lovely. G

I am a frequent contributer over on a forum called "Armorama". They have had advertising for years now, and it has contributed to the success of the site which is truly international in scope. Not that we aren't, "just sayin" it isn't a bad idea. It's not at all bothersome, and in many ways quite convenient to link from the site. G
