It's about 100 miles as the crow flies to Area 51. Nellis AFB is on the other side of the valley, and Creech AFB is just up the 95. There's all sorts of exotic stuff flying around at night. G

Randy, I live in Henderson, and with my background know all too well how this effects a community. Everyone has my thoughts and prayers, especially the emergency services. That's two major trauma scenes in as many weeks. G

The Reno Gazette Journal officially reports 3 dead, 56 injured, 13 of which are in critical condition. Our counterparts from the Reno office briefly assisted. They reported total carnage. The plane went in, and bounced into the box seating area in front of the main grandstand. It was a heavily modified P51, and reported to be one of the oldest modified planes on the circuit. Regardless, this is quite a tragedy.

What's this "rain" I keep hearing about? I'll be watching this one. G

It's been about an eleven year fight to get one stinking rail line for passenger travel from LA to Las Vegas. Eleven frickin years! This town only exists due to the rail road, all the fun stuff came much later. (insert showgirl emoticon here) I'd love to ride a train to LA and back. Heck I'd like to see a line to Phoenix too. Trouble is, will we be spending as much for the choo choo as an airplane? The train has travel times equal to an auto, so will cost keep me driving? I don't even know where I'd find an Amtrack station, like Danno I guess I'd drive the 9 hours to SLCity. Then again, ever try to drive to San Francisco from Vegas? Ya gotta go south to go north in the spring/winter/fall because they close the passes in NorCal. Took right at 15 hours to see my lady friend in Santa Cruz back in my single days. G

I'd like to see an app that allows this. HD has a similar app on the new bike part of their site. You click on a model, say Road King, then you can point to the colors offered and "see" what the bike will look like. Same same with wheel options. If I recall you also have a 360 view of certain models. Now that would be fun applied to model cars. G

I'm looking forward to this one for sure. I cannot recall but didn't someone campaign a Hudson in the old PanAmericana (sp) cross country race? I've seen Fords and Chevys as well as a Dodge (DeSoto?) but I believe someone drove a Hudson. Help me out here folks. G
