  2. I like them all but, that 55 BelAir REALLY looks good! G
  3. Something about that 66 Chevelle just turns my head Chris. They're all nice but I lika dat Chebby. G
  4. Good looking build. I like the subtle camo, it really replicates the field applied spray paint. The figs in all the hatches give quite the "human element" to the tank as well. Well done sir! G
  5. MiB don't exist, therefore my name is just an illusion. G
  6. Virgil, I absolutely love your stuff shiny or not. How do you like the AK Interactive line? I've been resisting the purchase of everything they offer as I have always been able to do most with what I've got. Feel free to PM me and we'll chat, I have a bunch of questions. G
  7. You are quite welcome Doctor! The accessories section on that site has all sorts of good sh, er, uh, things in it. G
  8. Miss Connecticut? married YOU? Poor woman, she's nearsighted too. G
  9. Tell that lovely lady Happy Birthday, and may she have many many more!. G

  12. 1974 Dodge Monaco 2000-2010 Ford Crown Victoria 1951 Studebaker 2010-Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon/Caddy Escalade 57 Dodge Regal Lancer G
  13. www.policecarmodels.com has some weapons in the appropriate scale as well. G
  14. I've not tried it, I have a lot of Windex lying around, but most say any cheap window cleaner will work. Some even use auto windshield washer fluid. Createx AB cleaner will do just fine. G
  15. Windex for sure. Thin as stated and play around from there. One thing though, these will airbrush well if you use a good primer. Use Windex to clean the airbrush too, or laquer thinner. If you clean the AB with Windex, flush with plain water. Ammonia attacks the brass parts whether plated or not. G
  16. I built "shiny" for the better part of 15 years, so I decided to try something else. I'll be back to shiny soon. G
  17. I like it because the mods are so subtle. Good stuff there. G
  18. Jim on the real tank they welded 17 penny nails to the hatches as protection from satchel charges. Some battalions used wire mesh screens, some didn't bother at all. The 5th Tank Battalion used nails. I used 28 ga. wire. I drilled abunch of holes in the hatches and inserted loops of wire two holes at a time. Then I slathered super glue over the inside and hit it with kicker. THEN I used a nipper to cut them all to about the same length. I was darn near bugeyed after that, but I felt it was worth it. G
  19. Oh God yes. He was tinkering around with an M113 that he just replaced the engine in. After tearing up and down the road out front, he pulls up and asks "wanna buy it?" Good thing old Pete was with me, he's my conscience. G
  20. I haven't read that one Curt but it sounds like a winner. I was just outside Kenosha Wisc. last fall and visited a military boneyard/museum this guy has there. He had placed a Sherman turret on a stout cradle at the right height above ground. You step up onto a platform and duck under putting yourself inside the turret. The turret is empty, no gun, no nuttin', but even so it is amazing how freakin' small it is. I'm a rather, ahem, "large framed" individual and my Brother in Law is 6'4. We stood side by side inside that turret and felt way claustrophibic. "Death Traps" indeed. The guys who crewed these beasts, from all sides of the conflict, were some of the bravest mofo's ever. G
  21. Hey Walt, how was that AMT Challenger? My brother in law bought himself a blue one just like that and I thought I'd build him a replica. Fun car too. G
