  1. I have several kits still packed away from my move half way across the country. One of these days it'll be like Christmas in July! G
  2. Real nice. G
  3. Uhhhh, dude, love laquers....................... G
  4. Jim even today I can recognize that thumping rotor from miles away. G
  5. Nice, brings back memories. I'd always try to sit back in that corner next to the transmission housing right behind where the door gun is on your bird. I could see out, and bail out pretty quick if it hit the fan. If we were close to the ground that is.................... G
  6. Ok, I'll play. Checking in with the boss. My lovely, now retired wife, Mary. My last roll call. G
  7. A lot of superflous stuff was removed and tossed in a pile at Fleet Services while outfitting the cars. I don't recall any CV I ever drove that had the engine cover in place. Ditto trunk liners, ash trays, and floor mats if provided. G
  8. I did a bit more waiting for the AM tracks to get here. I didn't like the oldskool hollow jerrycans with the molded on racks and straps. So I made my own. I made the wheel hangers fron craft wire. They look a lot like what the real deal used. I had to drill out the lug holes in the wheels though. Oh BTW Felix, I scored another one of these kits for, wait for it, $15.99 without a coupon at my Hobby Lobby. No way I could pass that up. Mrs G agreed (thank goodness) G
  9. Holy &^%$! Those are fantastic. The nekkid tripe is just, just, well over the top. G
  10. Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about! G
  11. I know someone on that show bugged ours! Regarding Torello, well, I have the suits for sure.................. G
  12. Yeah and I drive an all black Town Car It's gonna be dust in a metal shell soon. Oh and Danno as far as I'm concerned, "Barney Miller" was the only TV show ever to accurately portray detectives. G
  13. It ain't real unless it sets off every car alarm as you ride down the street. G
  14. Well Danno, at least you have a car show, all we have is "PawnStars". G
  15. Semper Fidelis my forest green brother. God speed, and keep the streets of heaven safe until we meet. G
  16. Didn't they store deck chairs in funnel #4? More trivia: Titanic sailed with a fire smoldering in one of her coal bunkers. It started early on, and short of emptying the entire bunker it could not be extinguished. G
  17. I too am not a "Gundam person" yet I do appreciate what it takes to build one of these. Keep it coming, I want to see what you do with this. G
  18. Nice! Very nice, indeed. You did a marvelous job on this oldie. I wouldn't have wanted to give her up either. What color did you use for the funnels? G
  19. I'm sayin'......................... Great build Bernard! G
  20. Don I'm thinking you should soak the body in your favorite stripper, and unfortunately, start all over from square one. G
  21. I love it! The Chally is a bad mofo. That loooong barrel is the thing that sets it apart from the M1A's. This sukker can get a hit at over 3000 yards, and has.............. G
  22. In actuality few, if any, current light bars have any chrome plated parts. To me it's just more convenient spraying the entire thing aluminum, then adding some "shint stuff" for the rotators. With the proliferation of LED bars it is really easier. The majority look clear until turned on so just paint the inside of the clear area silver. In all honesty though from 3 feet you won't notice the rotators at all until they are turned on. So since looking at a model from one foot away is like 24 actual feet, it just depends on how much you want to add. I'm liking this kit and cannot wait to get started. G
  23. I found it for $39 at Hobby Lobby and with a 40% off coupon I could justify the purchase. G
