  1. At the risk of being burned at the stake, the Caterham Seven. I have one, but cannot convince myself to build that hideous beast. G
  2. I love these big guys, you really did it justice. 4006 is about 15 miles from where I lived. I remember climbing all over that puppy as a kid. G
  3. One of my favorites: My all time favorite piece: Here's something I did just for fun. There were nights I wish I had the real deal. Here is one that no longer exists. An unavoidable accident wrecked this beyond repair. G
  4. Some of my figure work: And, "God Bless John Wayne" G
  5. Not Necessarily. Closing streets is a Traffic Division and District job. Bomb and Arson would be well out of that loop, unless they closed the street. Been there, done that, G
  6. Buildbuildbuild! I like the small details you have all over the truck. The mufflers are especially neat! G
  7. AMT '49 Ford, Lt Ed Exley, and '51 Chevy, Detective Bud White, cars from LA Confidential. I don't remember but I believe the movie Ford was a '50, so a grill swap is in order. G
  8. Mine is the AMT 51 Chevy, not the Fleetline though. I want to replicate Bud White's police car from LA Confidential. I just know I will screw it up. G
  9. Sweet! G
  10. Don what color blue is that on the Pontiac? G
  11. This is just unimaginably cool! (is that a word?) Looks like Fremont Street has met it's match. G
  12. Thanks Danno, I'm at work screwing off er conducting an in depth investigation. Yeah an investigation, that's it. G
  13. Thanks Greg! Nothing being built today, I'm headed to Chicago tomorrow for the week and will start the Deuce when I return. I promise!!! G
  14. LMFAO! Back a millenia ago I was in charge of a specialized unit that was known through out the area as "Wayne's World". Ahhh the memories, PARTY ON! G
  15. "Somebody" did a resin Plymouth Belvedere body and interior. I've seen really good replicas of Adam 12 done this way. Somewhere I have a '71 Riviera in resin. It's really bad, but if I can find it I'll build it! Don't even ask where it came from 'cause I cannot remember. Squad 51's rescue truck is possible with the old Lil' Red Truck and a bunch of sheet plastic, and resin wheels, and bumper, and and and more stuff. Model Roundup offers a resin conversion of Andy's Mayberry squad car. G
  16. I'm with ya on all the above. I remembered Mac's wagons this morning! I knew Kojak drove a Century, really I did. I was just testing you guys! G
  17. There is a resin conversion to which a RoadRunner chassis is attached. G
  18. The Plymouth Belvedere from Adam 12. Squad 51's rescue truck. '55 Buick Century from "Highway Patrol". Kojaks Buick LeSabre. G
  19. I frequently shift my interest in builds from cars, to armor, and back again. I've been stuck on armor for a while as I have been participating in a group build on another forum. So in an attempt to get my mojo back, here's a quickie that bridges the gap. This is a Tamiya 1/35th scale DKW NZ 350 in Afrika Korps livery ca 1942. I added the clutch, front brake, and throttle cable from copper wire. I made the tank shift rod from stretched sprue. This will give you an idea of the size of a 1/35th scale bike. G
  20. It was a "Welcome Back Kotter - SweatHogs Dream Machine" or some such. I believe it was a pimped out Pontiac Gran Prix. G
  21. Looking good! Throw a blob of epoxy putty behind the door handle recesses. That way if you do breakthrough there will be something there. G
  22. Well I just finished this: Now I'm preparing another '32 Ford. This one will be a roadster and as period 50's as I can get. G
  23. Soak 'em in lacquer thinner. G
  24. I found some cast metal wolves used in fantasy gaming. They make a perfectly acceptable German Shepard standing in the back of a police car model.
