  1. It's nice, to a degree. It's a re pop of the "Sleepy Hollow" horseman from the 1999 Tim Burton movie. That in itself was a re tool of an earlier Headless Horseman based on the Disney movie from way back when. I built the kit two years ago after having it sit in the stash since abut '99-'00. Poor fit and seams galore, not to mention the shaggiest fur ever seen molded on a horse. It can be made to look good, if you like a challenge. I'm at work now but I'll post pics later tomorrow. Danno's seen the final outcome and knows what all it took to build it. I'm sure he could chime in on it. G
  2. Hide the women, plastic pushers beware, the boys will be in town. G
  3. Ursula Andress. That oft copied, but never quite equaled, scene in Dr No. Oh baby, made a 007 fan of me big time. Although I must admit to a fondness for Halle Barry's redo. G
  4. Good job sir. I'm loving this, one of my faves of all time. G
  5. That's what she said....... G
  6. Waiting! Waiting! Ray Kurn! Oh sorry................ G
  7. Well, this little monkey just got lost on the shelf amidst all the big gorillas. I decided she needed some groundwork. I saw a photo of these in China lined up on what looked to me to be an ancient cobbled roadway. So, I took some of this. Cut it up into smaller pieces. I then glued them to a piece of thin sheet styrene and got this out. Mixed with water and some of this. I got the starting point for this. More acrylic paint applied thinly in layers and drybrushed over all got me to what I wanted. I added some vegetation and here you go. G
  8. Harry I'm not seeing your photos. G
  9. About half of my 36 year career was spent in a detective bureau of some sort. Most of that time I was in an assignment where coat and tie were required. Other that actually going out and buying the clothing, I never minded one bit. Of course there's always the one suit that, when worn, brings additional work. I had one beautiful custom made affair that every time I wore it, we got the call for a fire death. I was finally ordered to never wear it to the office again. G
  10. Here in southern Nevada solar cells make complete sense. Breakthroughs in technology are welcome. Trouble is the "good old boy" network that runs Nevada Power has gone out of their way to deter the use of solar energy. They have managed to persuade the state legislature to tax solar cell users to the point that they convert back to regular old electricity from the conglomerate. G
  11. Makes sense to me! Again, very, very good work. G
  12. Very nice! Great attention to detail. I'd like to know why you painted and foiled the tail lights like you did. G
  13. Very well done! Beautiful PE work. What green did you use for the base coat? G
  14. Thought I posted this earlier. G
  15. Thank you Harry! Jim, curiously enough I believe the Type 95 shares more with the FT 17 than any of the others. The FT 17 was the seminal design upon which all others were based. A .50 would just leave her looking religious. Holy.............................
  16. The tips are marked on the edges of the body. Look at your tips, see the threaded part? Good, now look up at the body of the piece, the area where the wrench fits. Each corner has small grooves. Count those and match to the needle that is marked the same. That's a good solid airbrush. You'll pick it up in no time. G
  17. Now some adversaries. Panzer III M, Tunisia. Panzer IV E, Libya. Japanese Type 95 Chi Ha. G
  18. Ok, camera batteries lasted long enough to obtain this sequence of photos. Ft-17 with subsequent developments in USMC armor. M3A1 Stuart. The M3 was a successor built based on developments between the wars. M4A2 Sherman from Tarawa. M26 Pershing from Korea. M60 A1, ODS. M1 A1 Iraq. G
