  1. Thank you all! Kevin I cheated on the zimmerit, I used the Tamiya aftermarket set. It was easy to use and the results speak for themselves. I justified the extra cost as I won the kit in a raffle! Yes Danno you have! Hey is your PM box full? G
  2. I think we could be more constructive if you photos were clearer. It appears you are doing some great work, but the pics are way to out of focus. G
  3. Wow! Love them all. Great job Harry. G
  4. Yeti, yummmmmmm good. G
  5. I never watched any of these shows until Steven Tyler became a judge on Idol. That first year was hysterical, obviously no one knew how to corral him. The second year was a bust as he was toned way down. Never watched any of them again. G
  6. This is some of "all the rest" that I built this year. G
  7. Superb! G
  8. Im sure they would if it were that simple. Damage from striking said drone is more llikely. G
  9. Every year the topic of moving back to the Chicagoland area comes up. When the word winter gets mentioned, conversation regarding the move is then suspended for another year......................... G
  10. Dave, The problem lies in the forces of gravity and local firearms laws. What goes up, must come down. While #7 1/2 shot won't matter much, if at all, a dead drone crashing down could cause "issues". Combine that with your usual no "discharging of firearms" statutes, folks should think twice. I for one, would prefer a garden hose................ G
  11. Beautiful work Yuri! G
  12. On a more positive note! My daughter arrived via airplane at noon yesterday. Happy Holidays for all! G
  13. Yes they do but, they are not within the city limits of Las Vegas. G
  14. Your cousins are wrong. I live here. The strip is NOT in the city. G
  15. Oh no. "The Strip" is not in the city of Las Vegas, it is technically unincorporated Clark County, Nevada. Downtown "Fremont Street" is in the city. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Las+Vegas,+NV/@36.1246737,-115.4551966,10z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x80beb782a4f57dd1:0x3accd5e6d5b379a3 Zoom in and you'll see the strip in not in the city. G
  16. This sweet baby passed on the other night. She was 17 and had been with MrsG since day 1. RIP Penelope, aka "Hoochie Mama". G
  17. Once you work in a casino, or in my case regulate/police them, the allure is gone. Certain restaurants and shows are the only draws. When she retired, MrsG was the "Director of Casino Operations" at the old Las Vegas Hilton. She has repeatedly said she will never go back into "the industry". She had a great offer as the Executive Vice President of the Race/Sports Book in the Fountainbleu. (The woman can set a line faster than most and nearly as fast as the pro handicappers) VP's rarely if ever get on the floor, or in her case, the book itself, so she said yes. Trouble is that place will never open and most likely be torn down. It was such an offer that I could have retired.....again........ G
  18. For decades, Las Vegas was the only place to make a legal sports wager. To prevent any form of gambling related corruption surrounding pro sports, there would be no franchises in 'Vegas. Fast forward to the 21st century and we are actively seeking some form of pro franchise here. I think the NHL will "break the ice". Trust me, the "strip thing" gets old fast.......... G
  19. I agree. Look at the top run of the track and the way it bends down toward the idler (rear) wheel. That and only two return rollers. G
  20. This is "Shorty" the stinky beagle. Spoiled rotten he is. I got him from the Humane Society of Missouri 10 years ago this week. He is a hurricane Rita orphan. My then wife and I had just got back from a Vegas trip when a friend that worked there called about all the dogs they had gotten. Most needed adoption or else........ So we go over to the St Louis office and look around. This little booger was asleep in a crate having been treated for heart worms. My wife wanted a beagle badly so we asked if he was adoptable. They put us in a meeting room and let him walk in. For some strange reason I chose to sit on the floor instead of the bench. This dog crawled in my lap and went to sleep. My first though? "Oh Scheist, I'm a dog owner" G
  21. Well done sir! G
